Just finish dqiv and gonna start v. So far i can tell about iv - it's very good game except too much hours spent for killing enemies for expirience and money. And if you ddn't do it - you will just end killing by some boss battles. You know what i mean. :D My final time was 45 hours - pretty good for ds anyway.

Narrative, interesting characters and relationships between, parties of characters, linear (almost) game world, anime-based art style, etc.

Actually, P4 is a perfect game!
