Yet, many consoles have had horrendous starts software-wise and finished on top. The PSOnecomes to mind, and how is it a travesty? Because it doesn't offer HD and 3 different shades of brown on a $500+ TV?

For your kinds of games the pc is a strong choice but it has no fighting games unless your into mugen.
