Improving The Next GTA Title
by LiQuId_TyRaNt on Comments
As well all know. San Andreas is not without it's flaws. But then again, what GTA title isn't?! So let's go ahead and talk about a few things that would help make the next installment of GTA better.
First of all, you've got to get rid of all the glitches. The same ones that have been in the game since GTA3 and continued on into Vice City and now San Andreas. That should be their first goal with GTA4. If that is indeed what it's going to be called. Next, start listening to what the fans have to say. I had been saying since GTA3 how cool it would be if you could modify your vehicles. Cuzz' let's face it. It sucks to have the same car as the AI's in the game. And with San Andreas they listened. But, it only went so far. I say you need to have a full modify garage. Where you can customize any car and even motorcycle for that matter. And not just certain rides at certain garages. I would alos like to see the Tattoo parlor's expanded as well. Because with San Andreas you can choose from only a few tattoo's. And you can only mix and match so much. Before you start repeating yourself. Something that would be really cool with the Tattoo's. Is to make it like the mod garages, where you can pick your design as well as color. I'd like to see my guy running around with some extreme colored Dragons.
You will def. have to make the next installment of GTA, ONLINE accessable. And if they do so. They need to put extra missions into the game. Like I said in a previous entry. It would be so cool(using Vice City as a referance here), to play as say a Cop in the game, online. Where you could team up with other cops and take on the bad guys. Doing stuff like speed traps, pulling over and actually arresting speeders and drunk drivers. Being able to call for back up, set-up roadblocks and spike strips. Maybe even call in a Helicopter for air support. I would also make this feature offline as well.
I'd like to see it be an actual Two Player game as well. And not the Two Player Co-op crap that San Andreas has. And you've got to bring back the Rampages. Those are a vital part of the GTA series. Always have and will be.
Anywho, getting back to the online thing. I would like to be able to play as different characters in the game. Whether they are main storyline peeps or just extras in the game it's self. It'd be cool to play as a Pimp and work your way up. Or how about having a job working at some fast food joint. Where you have to work from a certain time and end at another certain time. And during such you make food, deliver orders, ect. The possabilites with this aspect are endless.
I also would like to see cars be able to go thru the car wash. And whatever happened to being able to do construction?! I'd like to find a spot of land, buy it, and then build my own home to my specs. Of course, you'd have to have the money to fund it. It'd be awesome to build your own Mansion. And stock it full of the coolest stuff. Like tvs, stereos, gaming systems, a pool, ect.
I know there are some other things I need to touch on. But of course, cannot think of them all. So, I'll shut up for now. But if I remember anything. Which I know I will. I'll be sure and add it asap. 'Nuff said. L8rs all.
Taking GTA: San Andreas Online
by LiQuId_TyRaNt on Comments
If you're like me. Than I am sure you've contemplated this idea just as much, if not more than I have. And that is the simple fact in taking the Grand Theft Auto series online. Why?! Well, why the hell not?! Think of it. You could pick any character that you'd want from the game. Whether it be a simple mass-produced AI character or one of the Main Storyline character's. And you could access new missions. Adding much needed extra gameplay and replay vale to an already kick-ass series. Ever since online gameplay was first introduced, I have wished Vice City would've been made to play in that capacity. Think of being Lance Vance, and getting to play a whole new set of missions. I mean, this way we'd get to see what he was doing before, during, and after hooking up with Tommy Vercetti. Up until his end atop the roof of Tommy mansion on Starfish Island.
Or if you decided to be a mass-produced AI character. Whether it be a cop or a simple civilian. Think of the endless possabilities you could have. For example with the cop. You start out as a rookie. Going through all the training, such as working out to pass obstacle course's. As well as hand gun training to improve your skill. Basically, you go through the academy first. Than once you've graduated you his the streets. Say they assign you to a precinct or police station. And you have a certain area to partol. It'll be up to you to keep crime down. You can stop and talk to people, as well as frisk them. And arrest them, if need be(sort of like True Crime: Streets of LA). You bust a few street punks, and the more you bust. Of variosu types of crimes. The higer you rank. I.e. Sergeant and so on. It'd be like the Vigilante missions. Where you can do high speed chases. Whether it be you going after a perp or joining in on a chase. And you can call for backup if the need arises. Point is, the possibilties are endless. And with the cop, you could get yourself ranked so high. That you could eventually join SWAT. And go out on SWAT related missions. And maybe even after that, have the FBI look into hiring you. And than, you'd start FBI missions.
Or what about being a simple civilian, with a 9 to 5 suck-ass job. Like working at a fast food joint. Where you start out cleaning the bathrooms and grills. Washing windows, ect. Than you get promoted to cooking food. And with that, you could put stuff into it. Like say someone wants to kill their husband or wife. Or maybe kill a senator who eats there. They pay you, you slip the stuff in and whamo! They're dead. You could get promoted to working the register where you could pocket the money, but run the risk of being busted, if you take too much. And finally, you just get so fedup with the job. You pull a "B" like in Half Baked. Where you tell everyone "f*ck you! f*ck you! you're cool. f*cl you! and i'm out!" Or how about going on a killing spree?! And wasting all the costumers as well as your boss. Like with being a cop, the damn thing is endless.
Well, I think you all get my dirft. I would really hope Rockstar will make the next GTA installment online compatable. And take some of my ideas into consideration. They did somewhat with the Mod Garages in San Andreas. Ever since GTA 3, I was wishing you could pimp-out a ride. Make it personal to you. Ya' know?!
I just think it'd be really cool. If aside from being able to play the main game it's self. You could do a whole 'nother game with all the different people online. Hell! even make it to where you could do them offline as well. You know how San Andreas has the gang bangers and you can recruit them to help you take out various gangs. Well why not have it be online as well?! Think about it. You live in the US, your friend lives in Russia. And you've got some other peeps from around the world. And you're create your own gang. Name, nicknames for your characters, your colors, ect. And your missions are to take over rival territories. You can do simple tagging, drive-by's, street races, fist-to-fist brawls(ala Fight club).
As I said, you can take this series to new and limitless heights. And I hope in the near future it'll be approached and accompliahed. 'Nuff said. L8rs all.
