@SaintsRowLA @Zombie97 So I guess we'll see Best Buy, Wal Mart, Gamestop etc proceed with the banning of games where women get killed as well? Oh that's right no because they have brains and see the slippery slope that is catering to social justice. Good luck with the next 20 petitions Target. Imbeciles.

@RicanV @Zombie97 Question: The stance here seems to be killing women is morally wrong. As far as I can tell what they are saying is killing men is totally fine, they don't care, killing women is morally incorrect. Target seems to imply then that killing men is totally fine and a game that these particular women wont buy somehow affects their sales if they stock it. That's lunacy.

By these standards there are thousands of books we should be banning and burning too. 1984 draws ever closer.

@yankblan It has an age restriction... at this point, as a company, you're saying you get to dictate to your customers what you think is morally acceptable. That's suicide for a company, or at least it used to be and should be in the future. Western Civilization is getting ridiculous.

@Random_Matt @LickTheEnvelope @ggregd I disagree. The multiplayer is great and the strike missions are fun. Those are the 2 biggest components of the game.

@skootbootz @LickTheEnvelope @Random_Matt @ggregd It's far from perfect, but Titanfall is much much worse. See the problem I have? Then you say "that's opinion"... yes but that's a drastic opinion difference on a similar type FPS game. One rating is almost perfect and one is average.

@Random_Matt @ggregd @LickTheEnvelope Destiny doesn't 'suck' though. The only part of it I would say 'sucked' was the story, which Titanfall did far far far far far worse.

@skootbootz @LickTheEnvelope That's why it's semi frustrating. You'd think you'd have similar standards at least across FPS.
This is where it looks like someone got paid for a Titanfall review (to me). I put 6 hours into Titanfall and was completely bored with the lack of anything to do. Destiny may be bland, but i've had 30 + hours in it so far and haven't done close to everything.

Not that I completely disagree with a 6... however, Titanfall = 9 ... Destiny = 6 .... ???? That is ludicrous.

@Neha23 @LickTheEnvelope Thanks Neha! It was when you talked about a study in college you did that showed the men you questioned like Laura Croft because "she was hot"... but you also seemingly referred to her character as depicting 'shrinking women'... I found this especially odd as there was a female Laura Croft cos-player in the crowd. No big deal, I don't have enough facts but I think if you are going to imply men like women characters because 'they are hot' ... well that sample you took may have been skewed by age and location.

Thank you for all your hard work. With all the craziness the last 2 weeks I have been sending emails out trying to get the press to start portraying women in gaming in a better light. I am getting poor responses from male editors but some journalists have sent my emails elsewhere. If you would like I can send them to you as well.

Thank you again!

These women are incredible. I had a couple disagreements with Ms Tiwari but nothing major. One thing I would suggest for future panels though is being more positive about the industry in the title. "Women Thriving in Games Media" works just as well and IMO works better to not scare women away from the industry. This doesn't mean they should talk about their struggles but just be wary of scaring young women away and maybe focus on fun things sometimes. Thanks Gamespot.
