I've been seeing these new episodes of Pokemon and I have to say it just completely had. The new formula for each new region discovered is that there is a new female protagonist besides Misty that's a rookie and always ends up getting her bike fried by Pikachu. The 3 starter pokemon for each region aren't all caught by Ash anymore, but are spread out through the other trainers. Also at the end where Ash goes to the Pokemon league, he decides not to use any pokemon he has back at Professor Oak's, but only use the ones he currently has which is extremly stupid. He then only comes in the top 8 and loses to some guy he became friends with. Also it seems Ash's mom is the Virgin Mary because we haven't heard about Ash's father since the second episode. If the rumor was true that he was Giovanni's kid I would think this series improved only 10%

What ever happened to the phrase "Gotta Catch Them All"? It might as well be called "Gotta Befriend Them All", because there is barely any catching to be found here. It's always the select few with a personality problem that Ash catches.

Team Rocket has lost any sense of actually being villains and try to be the best comic relief possible, which isn't something you want to be. They always use the same balloon which easily rips yet they still think is the perfect getaway vehicle because anybody can see it and easily break it down. They're pokemon are so poorly trained I'm surprised they haven't mutinied yet because they always suffer the same humiliating defeat by Ash & co. I'm surprised that they're not dead yet since they always get shocked, fall from hundreds of feet above the ground and somehow make a new giant robot they shouldn't have because they always complain about they're budget. I still don't know why they chase after Pikachu because they've failed over 300 times and it's basically why they are considered failures in the eyes of millions. The most crushing blow to them was Jesse thinking in a recent episode that victory starts with a B. How can a girl who is like 20 years old be that stupid?

Paul is what I think is the biggest improvement yet (considering it's not that really big of one). He is what Pokemon should be all about. If you don't have a strong pokemon, ditch it and get a stronger one. If Ash actually saw that logic, he might actually get stronger since he abandoned all his strong pokemon with Oak and thinks he can be great with a bunch of newly caught weaklings.

Misty leaving was the biggest mistake they ever made. I'm glad they got rid of Togepi because that was just bringing her down. But they shouldn't have gotten rid of her because her impulsive anger is what gave this show a fair number of laughs.

Whatever happened to Misty with a mallet hitting Ash and all the Ash & Misty moments together along with everything else that was decent in the show? They are all gone and Ash has no love interest because the studio thinks that Misty should be gone forever and Ash should just be a stupid kid who thinks he can be a great Pokemon master when he only catches around 6 in each region.
