Wii - Five Games in.

its been a while since ive had this cool machine, but i have just recently been able to test out all the primary game controls, from fps to tilt racing, minigames to adventures, and last but not least sports... but at the end of the day, does the wii do it for me? after months of tellin people the wiis gonna own; im glad to report that i simple love the li'il bugger. here ill rundown the games i have played for wii and why i approve.

fps - call of duty 3: im a COD single player fan, i turn to cs for my multiplayer fix, so not having multiplayer will never serve as a problem to me. the controls are awesome, but it pisses me off when i try to take a puff of my cigarette and my guy starts spinning, xD

minigames - raymanrr: its crazy how im a fan of rayman too, its like they decided to put all my favorite mascots on the wii. ohh well enough about me, rayman! crazy fun, but gets annoying in a few parts, like trying to get the piggy to its mom by listening at your wiimote, screw that.

racing - tony hawks downhill jam: when i first put this game on and got to move, i was like, screw this! but again, since im such a big tony hawk fan, lol, i had to stick around, and things turned out being pretty good..once u get the controls, youll be begging for more challenges, levels, characters, matter of fact, youll be begging for part 2 to come out soon.

adventure - zelda: nuff said. spot on controls, link, zelda, master sword, nuff said.

sports - wii sports: who in their right mind can deny this game? its a great showcase of the new console. and if its 1 of the only 2 games you have, its probably gonna end up in your system often, even if you would think its not. bowling is incredibly fun, getting pro is an event that takes a little time and effort, and really shows how far youve come and how much youve learned about using the wii remote. tennis is fun, until u end up swinging to the left trying to hit a ball that went to the right too fast. golf can be cool, but bring lager, and a steady hand that can repeat movements perfectly. baseball, is pretty crappy, probably because its hard to hit the ball...once you finally start hittin the balls they get caught automatically, and..i dont like baseball? lol. boxing, BROKEN FUN, it can be fun to dodge, because that works, and swinging after a bullettime like dodge works really well, but when your tryin to kick some serious ass, it doesnt work half the time.

so yea, the wii is pretty awesome, good change of pace in the videogame world of today. i would like to try excite truck, because its a racing game using cars, instead of tony hawk where its racing using a skateboard. i would also like to try red steel, im hearing mixed reviews on alot of these games, and sometimes, i even feel mixed myself, like...one day ill own at zelda, and the next the bows just too sensitive..but i also forgot it comes down to the resolution of your tv too. widescreen on a standard tv = more sensitivity. i found this out from transferring my wii to a 62inch tv downstairs. anyway, ill keep all u wii lovers informed on these games as i know you're curious as to how these games work, if the work, or if they need to meet a window...an open window... named sally.

Sony snuck one up on me!

so...i grab my cd player, to listen to some tunes, slip in a cd, its a clean cd, the cd player doesnt read it..i say, "WTF!?", and open it up to fix it myself...now idk what brand this thing was... until i looked near the laser underneat a plastic covermajigga. the name SONY. first they got me with the ps2 disk read error, and then they hide their name on a different product, and that gets disk read errors also? thats pretty crazy; and i cant say it wasnt sonys fault.. i have my reasons to hate sony.
