What? I just don't understand, I've seen nothing but positive reception to the Switch so far including:
-The most watched video on Nintendo's Youtube channel in less than 24 hours, with 10,000,000 views and including a 347,000 to 13,000 like to dislike ratio
-6,000,000 more views on Facebook with 105,000 likes
-75,800 likes and 65,000 retweets on twitter
-Almost every Youtube video about it seems to be positive, and if anything is negative, it just a few concerns, nothing on how the concept is terrible
-All of my friends around me are excited, including the biggest Xbox/Microsoft fanboy I know
-Even most comment sections seem to have most people excited aside from obvious trolls who dislike anything Nintendo does.
-It also looks like they have a ton of third parties supporting it, one of the biggest problems with the WiiU
-And everyone seems to like and understand the marketing, another big problem with the WiiU.
I don't understand some of the concerns the analysts point out either, like the PS4 struggling in Japan. That is exactly what this console addresses, Its a home console for the West, and a mobile one for the East. How does mentioning the PS4, a home console struggles in Japan show that the Switch, which can be whatever you want it to be will struggle there as well?
Nintendo is the king of the handheld market, and if this thing is affordable, I don't see why anyone would feel like it wouldn't sell anything.
I suppose that's just the cycle with Nintendo I guess.
Maybe just me being optimistic, but could they potentially be talking about FFVII as a whole? Like Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus also? Just something about the way it was put as "each entry providing its own unique experience" seems like there's more at play here.
And I thought reviews were supposed to give incite on weather or not to buy it. I'm sorry, a six? I just don't get it. The good for the game is the gameplay and story, which I consider the most important aspect, and yet it's given a six because it has the same gadgets and you use them the same way.
