Anyway technically speaking I have had it just over 2 months. Its ok for the most part but where are these games microsoft promised to be there for this xmas.
I think they got to learn something not everyone likes fps. They do not get you 50 million 360s sold around the world. Where are the plethera of rpgs/adventure/music/platformers.
Still need to buy a ps2. Just so I have a solid collection of games for when I buy the ps3.
Not one console this generation have made me go 'wow' each console has made me say 'cool' and thats about it.
The only thing I can see happening is that HD-DVDs are used exclusively for movies in the next generation and that Blue Ray DVDs become used exclusively for games/storage/Vista-style programs that kind of stuff.
Both my mind and heart are split over games these days. What happened to the time when I could afford on average about 10 games a month. To now where I can afford upto 2 games a month for next generation systems. And 5 games for previous console games. The world is changing and I don't like it.
Back on PS3, it currently looks like in europe this next march they will need around 12 million to squish intial interest. Will we even get that amount of consoles, now that japan will be getting 20k units less for their launch day I sure hope we do but who knows the truth?
One prediction sony needs to europe to make a profit on the ps3 in order to earn them more money.
