LitoLoco's forum posts
[QUOTE="LitoLoco"]i will still buy it, it will without a doubt be better than anything on the 360 as far jrpgs are concerned.Ragnarok1051New account for this? i am just new here is all, i used to post on other forums but i hear that this place is the best. dont flame me.
Now before I start I want to say a few things. This is not a "360 rox0rs!!!!1!" or "PS3 pwns!!!" or even a "MS and SNY sux!! Nintendo ruls!!" debate, just a comparison. I'm not going to bring up the Wii. It is not because I don't like it, it is just because I never played the darn thing. Also, I'm not going in to a graphics or spec confrence, because a.) I'm not a spec tech and b.) I'm living in Standard-Def world right now. ALl right, now that craps over with, lets begin.
Console Appearance: One of the main things about you console. If it don't look good, why have it? Both look very sleek, but I think the design looks better on the PS3, but with the 360, removeable faceplates and new Gamer Skinz, the color scheme goes to the 360.
Console Exclusives: Each console has there own exclusive that would make their console stand out, so, here is a short list of exclusive for both consoles.
XB360: Halo 3, Forza Motorspot 2, Lost Odessey, Eternal Sonota, Gears of War, Mass Effect, Bioshock
PS3: Killzone 2, Gran Tourismo 5 Prolouge, FFXlll, White Knight Story, Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet, Haze
Controller: What's a console with nothing to play it with? Enter the game controller. Each have their own ups and downs.
360: + Best controller for FPS's, rumble, Xbox Guide. - No motion sensing capabilities what so ever, bumpers to tend to break.
PS3: + best controller for driving and fighting game in my opinion, SIXAXIS control. -Where's my rumble!?!, triggers (L2 and R2) fell like crap.
Online: Ah yes, the peice de ressistance, multiplayer. XBL does have the easiest interface and tons of bonus content, but (evan though I don't care about it but the cows do) there is a fee. PSN may suck for friend tracking, it is free, and Home may be what could bring it in the race for online.
Overall: The two each may have their differences, they are both quite alike each other. Only time will tell who wins.
There are vastly more exclusives to 360 and all PC/360 games are exclusives as far as PS3 is concerned too
The list is infinite really, and Fable 2 is missing, plus FF13 is NOT a PS3 exclusive, it is on 360 too
just like bioshock and eternal sonata are on ps3.
