[QUOTE="LORDDICE1"] After going to my buddies house and playing Halo for about 5 hours, I came away feeling like I wanted to pop in resistance again!!! The game was good, but it was exactly the same as the last version for multiplayer. Some new guns, grenades, annoying shields, vehicles and maps. I still just felt like I was playing a prettier looking version of Halo 2. The graphics were no better then Resistance as well, which really surprised me. At the end of the day I would give the game an 8.5 but there really was nothing special. I am so glad insomniac created a game like resistance, the weapons are so amazing. I really feel that Resistance does not get the credit it deserves and I think if this game would have been released on 360 the masses would agree. With how many FPS there are now a days, developers really need to take steps to make the experience new and fresh. First there was goldeneye, the next big leap was Halo by taking it online, then I would give it to gears of war for the cover mechanic, and somewhere in there Resistance for revolutionary weapons. Why do people get so hyped to play a game that hasn't really changed since the 1st game in the series? All I can say is bring on Killzone 2 and hopefully it lives up to the expectations!

Ive got resistance and it looks horrible, it feels really light as well, maybe because of the lack of rumble. The guns dont sound beefy at all. I know it is a shallow thing to say but if it looked as good as it did in the cut scenes (which the PS3 can do) then i might stick with it. I do like the way you can fire the rockect and then halt it LOL thatsawesome.
But Halo3 just does something right for consoles same as the over halo games. Its bad on the pc because its to slow for the PC i think. Quake4 on the 360 must have been difficult to play but on the PC i had such a blast on it. Resistance just seems a bit bare IMO, it doesnt really do anything new.
No beefy sounds doesn't look so good? What game did you play? Certainly not Resistance...
