Um, yeah... Ok | Console Choosing Confusion

Well, other than the few times that I've been directed here by Google to, admittedly, get cheats, it's been a while. Almost 2 years.... maybe. It's always fun to look back and see the posts you've made (over half of them are missing from my p.h, but I'm not gonna **** though it seems that's what the internet was made for), the people you've met, the topics you've tagged and so on such and such. It's neat to get back.

Now something a bit more recent:
I'm looking to purchase a new console, but I'm confused about which. I've tried GS's beginning gamer thing or other, but that's little to no help (no offense).

[Note: I am typing this entry solely on what I've experienced with each console and my opinions of each. I know what the guide says about each console and their specs and such, but it's just the matter of choosing that befuddles me.]

Wii:

Funny story about Wii; I bought it and returned it 5 minutes later. I don't recall even leaving the parking lot actually. I'm not intentionally dissing the console, but it's game selection just isn't for me. I'd like to bash in some heads, blood sailing through the wind, when the mood's right. It seems to be more for the kid that you can't get to sit down and shut up. So, yeah, that's a no go.
[Note: I do not know of every title released for the Wii console, I'm just speaking from the ones that I've had the chance to play or watch being played, none of which are very satisfying to me. There aren't enough of my preferred genre to even consider (re)purchasing the console]

Xbox 360:

I've had the pleasure of playing this console a couple of times. It's graphics are lovely though I'm not usually a whore on the matter. This console has many titles that I would consider buying, though one title really won me over and may be the ultimate deciding factor for me: The Left 4 Dead series. This has much to do with my immense love for all things zombie. I have no experience with the online/multiplayer feature, so I'm not going to speak on it. The controller takes some getting used to for me, because I'm accustomed to the build of a PS system.

Sony's PlayStation 3:

Yes, I had to put in the whole name for this console. I've been with Sony since I was able to hold a remote control (well, a fraction of that time was Nintendo). I've owned many consoles that Sony has put on the market including the PlayStation, the PSone, the PlayStation 2, and the PSP. I've always had wonderful experiences with their titles and consoles all the same.

Other than the demos set up at electronic stores, I have never deeply played a PlayStation 3, so I'm not able to scrutinize certain parts of the console such as the graphics and gameplay. But, as I said, graphics aren't everything to me. As long as I am visually able to know what's-what on screen, then all's good. As far as the titles, I'm pretty pleased, though there is a short on zombie (from what I've seen).

After thinking about all of this and actually taking the time to type out myopinions, I'm still at a loss.

Which should I get?
Should I stick to the Sony path and "blind date" the PS3, or should I break it off and turn to Microsoft for consolation? [/horrible wrap-up]
