Well, as Christmas is nearly here and i should be at work today, i thought it was about time for another irrelevent blog post. I am sat at home writing a poster for a conference I'm off to in january and need to get it done by tomorrow when i'm off to spend xmas with the parents. The department is shut from friday til in the new year, this is a) a good thing, means am forced to take a week and a half off, and b) a bad thing, means i have 2 days before this conference and as i've not done much in the past few months - been very lazy - i'm panicking about work.

Anyway, a new years resolution abit early, try and work harder at work, so i don't fail my PhD, and get results to start to write up my thesis as i now have just over a year and a half left.

On a lighter note, I'm really enjoying CoH and my main alt is at level 23 now. Also got Prince of Persia sands of time of a friend in our secret santa, only played it a bit, but it looks amazing and gameplay is fun. Took a little time to get used to the controls - don't normally play this type of game.
