i know buddhism is great and all, but I'm an atheist cuz buddhism I feel is too much about the advancement of self, and being a collectivist I think that community is the purpose of life. If you are going to advance something or have an idea, don't keep it to yourself, share it withe the world!8)
randy rhoads is not that good a guitarist, except for the solo on Mr. Crowley. Yngwie Malmsteen is probably one of the best, despite his ego, and of course Tom Morello and Hendrix are up there, probably along with Elis Costell (surprisingly good). Slash is too overrated
actually, Halo's mostly based on the Ringworld trilogy (which is in turn based primarily on the Bible). In Ringworld (Halo), there is a group of human cyber-soldiers that have just discovered a "planet" shaped like a ring, and there is a zealous religious fanatical race (not called the Covenant, it's called something like the Faithful i think), and there are creatures a little like the Flood, only they are a form of alien fungus that controls the brain an slowly mutates the body. It is disturbingly similar to Halo, and if you read the trilogy you could possibly get some hints about the end of Halo 3...;)
no, the game is a cynical response to Ayn Rand's book Atlas Shrugged. In the book, the capitalists lived in their happy little utopia for ever and ever, but Bioshock obviously really screwed with that story...:lol:hehe
i heard on google news that m$ made a deal with a korean company called "limelight" or "lime-something" to go into xbl and make the service WAY more reliable. They were supposedly going to make downloads quite a bit faster, and add xbl support to a bunch of local broadband providers in rural areas...that's what I heard anyway...
i feel you, I only have an original xbox (due to lack of funds for a 360), but the games in the Halo series re just so stable and play so well, and have a good sci-fi story paired with interesting and sometimes amusing aliens to fight. It's also not a gorefest, but not viva pinata either...It's just a great game series, hands down.
