Starcraft 2

I purchased the Collectors Edition of Starcraft 2 and it's definitely worth the $99 price tag. The art book is pretty impressive and I liked the BTS disc but the coolest thing is the USB drive.

Now on to the game itself. I've only played the first 4 campaign missions so far but I think they've done a great job with the game. I like that it's more interactive in between missions. The cut scenes are top notch and add value to the game and the story. The new Armory where you can buy permanent upgrades for your units and bases is a welcomed addition and will be quite necessary as you face off against the new and more powerful Zerg and Protoss units.

I'm sure I'll have more to say when I play further into the game and online. So far though, the wait for the game has been worth it.

Games you want for Christmas

Well, Christmas is less than a week away and that bring me to one of the most important questions of this time of year.....What games do you want for Christmas?

For me I would say for my PS3 I'd like Resistance 2 and Tomb Raider: Underworld. For my PC I'd like Red Alert 3, The Witcher Enhanced and maybe the new Stalker: clear skies game.

What about everyone else...what's on your wish list?

So Many Games...So Little Time

This year seemed to be a big year of big releases. With games like Fallout 3, Far Cry2, Gears of War 2, Fable II, Red Alert 3 and Resistance 2 releasing in the last quarter alone it is evident that there really are so many games with so little time. What games this year have you missing time from friends, family and even work? What game causes you lack of sleep? Right now for me Fallout 3 is dominating my time (I am not doing the fast track through the main quest only). I definitely plan on getting Resistance 2 and Red Alert 3 as well and I bet those will take even more of my time. Sorry work..I have other things to do. :)

Fallout 3

Well, as most have, I started playing Fallout 3 this week. First I have to say the game is AWESOME!!! I was a huge Fallout 1 and 2 fan. I still have them installed on one of my systems and play from time to time. My one problem is all the morons out there fragging the game because of THEIR OWN STUPIDITY. I had zero problems installing the game, I have zero problems playing the game. I have no bugs, no crashes no need for patches. Most of the people I see complaining about the game talk about software on their machines that are obviously used to pirate or use pirated software (you're the reason they put DRM on games now..idiots). Others talk about the game constantly crashing...you own a computer...UPDATE THE DARN THING with video drivers and such..or stop playing a 2008 game on your 2002 computer. I even read a review where someone complained about the zero inclusion of turn-based....uhh...turn on the V.A.T.S yet??? That is turn based, just not as slow and deliberate as FO1 or FO2. I haven't seen a bad review yet with any real merit...just people showing their own ignorance. The game is fabulous, the play is great and so far I disagree with GameSpots negative about the story and characters. Get Fallout 3 and have fun with it and ignore any bad reviews.
