Oh my god. This game is amazing. Graphics are wonderful. It has achievements to make you feel good about yourself. It has only a small selection of ships for each Faction which means the game is all about strategy. It allows you to save your game whenever you want to so the hours you spend on it can be split into maybe 15 minute sessions where you get something done and you don't have to wait for 1 or 2 minute load times where it wouldn't be worth it to play for only 10 minutes or so. However when you start a game the start time can take some time but other then that it works pretty well on all different types of pcs from low end graphics and RAM to high end computers. The people who complain about it are people who wanted a Civilization 5 or people who just aren't strategy gamers. I bought it last Sunday and have been playing it quite a lot and now my dad is hooked on the game as well. It is wonderful that you can play LAN without having to buy a second disk.
