I have this problem too, I have a gateway gt5662 w/ 3 gigs of ram, amd phenom quad core with 2.20 ghz, an ati radeon 2400 xt and use vista 32-bit, it makes me wait about a minute and then it says either connection failed or failed to logon. sometimes it lets me on but that isnt often. my game is also fully up to date.

yes, there is a HUGE advantage, but I don't see the advantage being put to use right now. besides to use all that space means making stuff to fill it, that would take a long time to make a free roam game that big.

wow, did u even read the topic? (edit: crap, quick reply doesnt show original post...)

NE wayz a contender for mgs might be good, might not be, i mean, sony has been trying to contend with halo for a while now, but they haven't turned any good reults (yet). I think splinter cell needs a good revival and not this conviction **** i want to sneak an use night vision and stuff again!

Really, I don't see many games utilizing the awesomeness of Blu-Ray as of right now. It seems like Sony jumped the gun on Blu Ray and delivered it a generation early. I can see systems using Blu-Ray or something like it in the future but... Did they really need it now?
