I also think Nintendo needs to work on foreign relations as far as developers are concerned. I mean you got soooo many good 3rd party nintendo games but they are only in Japan lol. We never see them! I think if we can start getting some of those badass games from overseas(without having to mod our wii or get a freeloader) things would be much better. Nothing is more irritating than seeing a kick ass game for the Wii and then realizing it will never leave Japan..

Mario Galaxy just doesn't look fun to me. I don't like the level designs from what I've seen. The gameplay looks like more of the same, just a bit different thanks to the Wiimote. And I still have bad memories of Mario Sunshine. Anybody else feel like this?

Shut_Me_Up

We do not speak of THAT Mario game...lol.

But anyways this game looks more like Mario 64. However I do agree the level design looks a little to simplistic, but I will reserve my judgement until the game comes out. When Mario Galaxy was first revealed I thought the levels were garbage, I mean the video showed mario just running around a giant colored sphere..(wow great level design right there). But recently some levels seem a little more challenging and exciting. So I guess we'll have to see heh. Some people dont like the whole space/planets idea, but I think its cool. It kinda reminds me of Rainbow Road from mario kart 64 hehe.

What does the PS3 have for $600? OK, it has Blu-Ray which I don't need. 60GB, which I won't need, because I would just play Resistance and MotorStorm, which are the only exclusive, appealing games. And it has.....a controller from 2 generations ago? Bad online? It raises your electricity bill by a lot depending on how much you play it, plus it's huge. Did I miss anything?Pepperpop10

Whether or not you feel you need or do not need these things are irrelevant. The point Im making is your paying a low price for a high powered system. Its like buying the latest graphics card for only 100 bucks, now whether or not you may use that card to fullest is a different story. Now that being said, what Sony does not realize is even with all the amazing junk in their system, 600 bucks is alot of money in general. And as you said.. most people are concerned about the games in which Sony is lacking as well.

1. It does not use the latest technology.

2. The PS3 and 360 are overpriced way too much.

3. $250 is still a lot of money.

Actually it does use latest technology, its microchipset is amazing. It just doesnt have a bunch of high powered pc parts thrown into it(like processors, hard drives). And honestly PS3 for 600 bucks is a very very good deal, if you consider everything it actually has.

In your opinion, What could Nintendo do (like send out new upgrades/channels) that could make the Wii that much better?element_boy55

Im so glad you asked this question. Well to me Nintendo needs to change 3 things in other to beat 360 and ps3.

1. Make GOOD games other than 1st party. One thing that always bothers me bout nintendo is the fact that the only good games they have are from Nintendo themselves. I shouldnt have to wait for Mario or Zelda to come around. There should be GOOD 3rd party games as well.

2. Lower the prices of the VC games. Sorry but 6 bucks for a sega game is just plain stupid. And this is coming from the same company that wants to make things "affordable" for people. Lol nice one Nintendo.

3. Make some VC games online, yes yes I know some of you fanboys cringe at this idea, due to lack of imagination I suppose, but playing some of the c-l-a-s-s-i-c-s(sorry stupid censor crap) online just like Xbox live arcade is more fun than you can possibly imagine. And yes it can be done.

As for the graphics, well it does bother me, but its really not Nintendo's fault that the graphics blow arse. I blame the developers. Keep in mind the Wii is more powerful than the ps2 and a lil bit better than the Xbox. Yet the games still look like it was made for n64. Basically if Nintendo's developers could get their graphics up with games like God of War 2. I dont think people would be complaining. Its always funny to see a ps2 game have better graphics than a Wii game. Its actually quite sad and is inexcuseable.

I've heard good, and I've heard bad. WHICH IS IT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? GOOD OR BAD?Maluigi

Dude Im going to save you money and be honest with you. The game is butt... Even on its best day its still nothing more than plain ass. Do not let any fanboy tell you otherwise. In fact I lost respect for Ubisoft after throwing out this crap game. Supposedly they are making a 2nd one. I would just wait until that one comes out.

I don't understand how some people can say, "Well if Nintendo things it's the best approach, i have faith in them". I say no. It's 2007, and good online play should'nt have to be begged for. We should have had multiple games to choose from with online at launch, but instead we wait till April, for ONE online game that is only fit for a person 11 years and younger (really, if anyone catches you at high school with anything to do with pokemon, you will be laughed at and ridiculed). I love the Wii and all, but i think if everyone was as aggitated by this as i am, Nintendo would get their act together, and at least give us something decent, unlike the half-assed junk they expect us to look forward to. Also, would it kill them, to give us a little bit of news every once in a while about their major games, like SSBB? (i mean only two vids for this game. This is like the game that's going to sell the most copies than any other game on wii, like SSBM did for the GC.)

Well, i may have had my hopes a little to high for nintendo, because I've been such a big fan of all their consoles.(owned everyone since super NES.) Turns out Nintendo isn't perfect.:(

Nintendo has been having problems ever since the n64. Honestly I agree with everything you said 100%. There really is no legitimate excuse for Nintendos actions or lack thereof. And its funny because only fanboys try to defend them. For example I made this suggestion " Why doesnt Nintendo make SOME of the VC games online multiplayer" You know what my responses were? "Omg thats such a dumb idea, no one wants to play mario kart 64 online!!!" I guess fanboys are right that IS such a dumb idea. Its such a dumb idea that more and more xbox users play xbox live arcade. Im sorry but if no one can find the idea of playing Contra or Mario Tennis online fun then they are just crazy.

At this point Im on the verge of just selling my Wii. Nintendo needs to kick it up a notch.
