I need help learning where to get started for PC gaming. I want to be able to run total war games such as Empire: Total war and Rome : Total war. My current laptop is unable to run such games and I felt that maybe I should get a new PC. Where should I start considering I am unlikely to spend over £500 on the area and unlikely to upgrade regularly.

Halo Reach! The beta is finally out and I'm amazed by just how good it is. This caused my to wonder, will Halo: Reach one day beat Call of duty to Xbox lives golden crown? I would be interested to hear what you think about the beat and your views on the now becoming tedious Call of duty franchise.

With my internet down for the past two days, it became apparent to me that maybe it was time for me to whack out the old PSP. Then I started wondering, how long does a normal PSP standard battery last? Mine currently lasts about 3 hours. I would be interested to hear how long your's lasts. I was also wondering if any of you had any PSP games to recommend.

Happy 2010, sorry I haven't posted recently but I haven't had the time to.

Firstly I would like to talk about Battlefield: Bad company 2. What a game! If any game was going to beat the oppresive Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, then it was going to be Bad company. Although it may have its faults, I believe that it is just as good, if not better than MW2. Although the campaign for Bad company 2 is not quite a good as that of MW2 i still found it satisfying. But its the online multiplayer in which Bad company stands out. Be sure to check out various reviews of the game in order to find out for yourself how good the game really is.

I would also be interested to hear what you think of the game. What is your favourite game type or what is your favourite map.

Hey again, you may have heard that a holiday known as Christmas is quickly approaching. I for one can't wait, not only for the festivities but for the presents!! I am hoping to get a couple of games including Madden NFL 10, Forza Motorsport 3 and Guitar Hero. I have also ordered GTA: Episodes of Liberty City.

Also for those of you who have not seen already, a company has release unofficial versions of Ghost's (Modern Warfare). The link for the site is www.ballys.bigcartel.com. I have already ordered mine. :)

Hi again guys, another update. I have finally completed Assassins creed 2 :) For those who have already played it, what did you think? I personally found it great with only one problem this being that the story didn't seem to be going anywhere at one point (I'm not going to say when in case of spoilers).

Also, it is Christmas is 13 days (less than 2 weeks!) which means new games and time at home to play them. I am hoping to try out Madden NFL 10 and Forza Motorsport 3. If both meet up to the review scores given then im sure that I will enjoy it very much.

In addition to this I have borrowed Batman Arkham Asylum, on first impressions it was good, but I feel slightly dissapointed, mainly with the movement controls. Considering that I had just finished Assassins Creed 2 I guess that this is down to Assassin's Creed being Arkham Asylums top competitor.

So there you have it, there is my update for now :)

Just an update on what is going on in my life. Firstly the matter of wondering whether to get madden or not. Being british i personally don't understand most concepts of american football but I liked the look of the game. Do you reckon I should get it or not?

Also I have recently been playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, yet some of my friends have been telling me that it is the worst one yet and there is nothing there to keep them playing. Although I do believe that there could have been more guns available to unlock in multiplayer, I still find the online addictive and well worth the hours I have put into it. However, I feel somewhat dissappointed by the Special Ops mode, I believe that it would have been much better if it had been made 4 player instead of 2. Being only 2 player it feels a bit confined. I have the slight feeling that it was deliberately made worse in order to keep people playing world at war because of the amazing nazi zombies feature.

I would be interested to hear your opinions on any of these subjects.
