@fluffykiller @KingTrax999 That video is quite old. Since that news story DCA has been proven as a carcinogen. What happened was that Dr. Michelakis conducted a very limited study and it happened to have positive results on a few animal test subjects. Here- http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1570066/

@fluffykiller @flufflykiller If you'd even barely looked into those 'cures' you posted about you would have discovered that dca is a longtime hoax miracle drug that is actually carcinogenic, and that magnetic cancer treatment is in its infancy and is by no means able to unilaterally destroy cancer.

@Cypress131 @bunchanumbers If you participate in tournaments occasionally maybe. I think the line is drawn at organized competition.

If you want to get a gaming laptop, why would you ever opt for a non upgradeable rig? Two years and this thing will have to bottom out settings to even run new games.

@bish0p2004 In the first one at least there was a mechanic where you would tie up hostages and bargain them for teammates if anyone ever bled out. Throughout the heists the police would try to rescue them. So presumably the hostage aspect of the game is still present, even if they didn't showcase it.

@jagdedge124 @Falzonn @dragonkantus It seems like you never grasped the combat mechanics... The game really isn't that difficult. You could very feasibly beat the game as a level one character. As long as you recognize the patterns and weaknesses of enemies you should have no trouble at all defeating them, no grind necessary. Granted a lot of people probably wouldn't want to invest the time necessary to learn the finer points of the game but that doesn't mean the complexity isn't there. It's just not all laid out and spoon fed to you. You obviously never came to understand the gameplay mechanics and turned the whole thing into a grindfest for yourself.

@Kennheiser @Lordran_Seer @MooncalfReviews Sure thing. I think Krystal did a very nice job of summing up the inaccuracies/exaggerations in this article.

@MooncalfReviews Also I think it's important to point out that while Naoto is referred to as boku, it's common practice for tomboys to be called such (or bokuku, a simple amalgam of the Japanese words for boy and girl). Lucky_Krystal wrote a great response to this article mentioning some of these points: http://www.gamespot.com/users/Lucky_Krystal/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-26016028.

For someone who so often advocates broader concepts of gender roles, I was surprised that Carolyn shoehorned Kanji into her idea of a homosexual. To me his story seemed like a typical portrayal of a young boy struggling to achieve confidence in his sexuality. The homosexual underpinnings were certainly there, but I saw that as representing his own uncertainty in what his aversion from women and his 'feminine' hobbies could imply. As for Naoto, I think her casting as the archetypal tomboy dressed as a real boy completely went over Carolyn's head.

@leixiang You do realize that, with the exception of first party games, Microsoft doesn't provide servers right? Live has practically no bearing on the quality of your online service. It's all about your ISP and the game publisher's servers. Metal Gear Solid 4 had exceptionally poor servers, which wasn't too surprising considering how much more popular the single player component was than the multiplayer. I've played several multiplayer centric games on both 360 and PS3 and I'd be lying if I said there were any significant differences in the overall experience. Seems to me that you're just intent on proving some kind of 'brand superiority', which is a ridiculous idea to begin with.
