People keep complaining about how John died, but it was realistic. If they had done a cliche,ride-off-into-the-sunset-happy-ending,I would have been pissed.Plus the mission where Jack gets revenge was badass(especially if you're wearing The Legend of the West outfit).
But it was pretty obvious from the beginning that the agents were just using John for their dirty work, and they were planning on finishing him off anyways once he was done.Overall, the ending was very good, and I'm glad they did it that way.
I'm agreeing with this too.
It's a twist for the story and this is what I call a Rockstar ending. The Agents already wanted John dead from the very moment he stepped into Blackwater but only John can get close to his former gang members without being shot dead within seconds. Wished i could've killed Ross in a better way than just a duel. :/
When John looked thru the doors, and sees about 3, i was ready to take them all down but when he opened, MAN was i shocked. Before i tried, i knew John's road ends there.
Jack, for a start can get uneasy since the time spent with John and his character building is so much that a sudden change will upset the player (Maybe that's what R* wanted us to feel?) But as time goes by, i'm already fine playing as Jack. I still miss John but Jack isnt so bad once you spent some time with him
You don't know what you're talking about. The city is as vibrant as before and the Story is filled with colourful characters and the interesting perspective from different DLCs[QUOTE="LospROpHETs"][QUOTE="wiouds"]
I was worry about RDR. Since they also came out with GTA4. One of the worse games I own. Could they have made that city or story more boring?

I did not like a single characters in the game. I quit the game after driving over through the same gray color block after grey color block while trying to dodge the traffic.
Not even a single OMG gameplay moment? Well, its your opinions on the game and I can't force you to embrace it's quality. It's a awesome game in general, tbh.You don't know what you're talking about. [QUOTE="Elian2530"]When you say Rockstar, say Rockstar NORTH, please. ;) Yes, there's a difference. I thought they did an excellent job with Episodes from Liberty City. GTA the way it was meant to be and now RDR which is truly amazing. I'm not even a fan of sandbox games. When I see one, i usually give it the cold shoulder, but RDR has changed my mind. NoDzombie
news flash mate,
Red Dead Redemption was not made by Rockstar North, they make all the GTA games and Manhunt
RDR was made by Rockstar San Diego, who previously made the Midnight Club games (plus a few other random Rockstar titles)
Was about to say that XD Yes, RDR is indirectly a successor of GTA IV. It did what GTA IV did, tweaked a couple of stuff to fit the western setting and out comes another beautiful game by Rockstar. There are a couple of bugs and visual glitches although that is not what i expect from a Rockstar game considering they delayed it a couple of times even if it was for advertising. Still a fantastic game
