broke the 10,000 point gamerscore threshold. For some, I know this is not much of a big deal, but for someone with my work/ parenting schedule, I'm most pleased! Microsoft will probably have a new machine out by the time I get anywhere near 20,000!!!!

G'morning all, I figured I'd reach beyond gaming to try to gauge people to see who may be a fan of the genre. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely not the only ****of music I enjoy, but I have been on a bit of a Jazz kick later.

I had a couple of CDs shipped to me this past week. Both were ordered from ObliqSound with one being Persona by Massimo Biolcati & the other being Kind Soul by The Stance Brothers. I'm diggin' on both of them

Persona has somewhat of a light, mellow (but definitely not watered down) vibe to it. I'd never heard of Massimo Biolcati, but I'm a fan Obliqsound releases, so I figured I'd sample it to see what it was about...glad I did.

Kind Soul is standard issue groove-heavy, soulful Jazz from the Finland Jazz scene. The Stance Brothers (Isiah & Dwayne Stance and Byron Breaks) is a group produced by Teppo "Teddy Rok" Mäkynen (Teddy Rok Seven, Five Corners Jazz Quintet). Anything associated with him, Jukka Eskola, Timo Lassy or from the Finnish Jazz scene I'll either buy or slow enough to at least take a listen....and then probably buy.

At any rate, I'm open to a plethora of music. So please share input at will.......

Flashback to Christmas 2007....

For one of my gifts, I was given Bioshock. I played it for about 20, 30 minutes or so & thought, "This is a cool game.". Very cinematic, it was. Never really played it again....kept getting sidetracked by other games.

Flashback to about a week ago....

For the life of me, I cannot put this game down! In waiting on Fallout 3 to be released, I decided to play & complete some games I'd been sitting on. I've very much gotten caught up in the storyline & cannot believe I had this game for all this time & did not get into it until recently.

Better late than never I guess..........

A little over a year ago, I joined the Science Fiction Book Club (www.sfbc.com). Just like joining a DVD or Music club, you getting a sweet deal upfront & discounted merchandise thereafter. Well one of the books in my initial package was the above mentioned book. I'd actually ordered this book for simply collective purposes, but I found myself peeking in it while waiting on my next Legacy of the Force book to arrive. Turns out to be a very interesting read. I highly recommend this book for any STAR WARS collector. Peace.

Thought I selected rant, I'm really not going to go on & on about it, but I've messed around & got hooked on watching CNN......I just happen to notice whomever is being interviewed (from a Non-Partisan POV), they rarely, possible never answer a question directly. The only sense I can't make out of it is perhaps if a people answer a question in that indirect fashion, they'll have room to backtrack or maybe leave the remark to loose interpretation on the listeners, thus not making a concrete stance on the subject matter.

I don't know, maybe it's me.........

Can anyone tell me if there will even be a KOTOR III?!?! With the X-Box 360 going into it's what, 3rd year, one would think LucasArts/ Bioware (or Obisidian for that matter) would be all over the opportunity to make a next generation installment of one of the greatest game series ever made.

I'd actually considered getting used versions of KOTOR I & KOTOR II to tide me over.....plus I just should of never traded those games in when I bought my X360 a couple of years ago.

At any rate, I understand that there may be an MMORPG version of the game, but I haven't really seen any permanent evidence as of yet.
