They turned RE to action shooter. Still I think the game is worth the play, just do not expect it to be Resident Evil 1-3 ... It is about the same as 4, but not as scary maybe.
This game is hugely ... I mean hugely overrated. L4D is the game that ruined whole zombie genre. Survival game with unlimited ammo? This game should get 8.0 and nothing more.
In year 2020 the gaming industry has changed. There are only few game publishers: Nintendo, Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, Sony Computer Entertainment and Microsoft. The rest have gone bankrupt or has been bought. Mainly all games are released on XBox3D, Playstation 4 and Nindendo Funbox. PC gaming is concentrated on massive online role playing games and first person shooters. The biggest hits are WOW 3, Half Life 4, Call Of Duty 7 and Counter Strike 4. Most of the PC games are sequals for known games and follow the same recipe. All the games are sold on content delivery systems such as Steam. All the biggest publishers maintain their own content delivery system. Console gaming will also change. The new consoles will have their own operating system and will offer same functions as computers such as text/video/music editors and several other software. Consoles enable you record TV broadcast and your own playing. Console gaming will offer more varied gaming experience. But the best selling titles are still the same: Hyper Mario Bros, Final Fantasy 25 and God Of War 6. The last groundbreaking game that offered something new was released in 2011. This game did not sell well, and publisher concentrated on mainstream titles.
This is dedicated for those games that did not get good reception from reviewers or games that were just overlooked. If you have a game that you liked, but everyone else did not think much about. Please post it here. Prey A FPS game with excellent graphics and nice gameplay. It had some nice gravity and portal effects ... even before Portal Odium Action / Turn based / RPG. If you combine resident evil with X-Com: Enemy Unknown, this is what you would almost get. IMO a nice game, even though gamespot reviewer would disagree Little Big Adventure 2 Funny adventure RPG game. I think it is pretty decent. Arx Fatalis A lot more unique game than some Dragon Age: Origins that does not offer anything else than a plot and average gameplay. Arx Fatalis atleast had something new in it.
Several reasons why Runescape is horrible game. First of all the skills are repetive. I mean firemaking? You have to burn several million logs to get to level 99 and what good is that going to do? The game is abused a lot (cheaters) also the community is horrible with all the 5-12 years old people with their l33t speak.
