I have only had my PS3 for around a year and more and more people are talking about this YLOD, I mean I take good caremy PS3 but am worried about this YLOD thing.

Is this something to worry about, I mean is it affecting every PS3, is it as bad an issue as Microsoft had with the RLD???

I alos buy games based on there single player content, mainly because I just don't play often enough to be good enough to play online.

I am interested in borderlands but don't really know much about the storyline, which for me is the most improtant thing.

Has anyone been through the full game and if so can they comment on the storyline and whether or not it is any good. Also if there are issues with the game on the PS3, are they game breaking or just little niggles?

I have had my PS3 for almost a year now, I bought it because I had given up on my 360 breaking down all of the time. I am now worried because there seem to be more and more people reporting issues with the ps3.

is the PS3 just as prone to hardware failure as the 369???

Wasn't Hercules in the final cutscene of God of War 2 with all the Gods paying attention to Zeus? If so, then he will DEFINETLY be in the game as the director (forgot his name) said that all the gods comprising the last cutscene of GoW2 will appear in God of War 3.

Don't recall seeing hercules, he isn't actually a God either.

I can't actually believe he hasn't appeard in the series yet and I definatley think he will now. Hopefully they will make a darker more vicious version of the mythological character.

If he is in the game I would imagine he will be a major character in the storyline and will more then likely be one of the tougher boss battles.

Is the PS3 any less reliable then the PS2 was? I know there are never any gaurantees it will not break but was just checking to see if it was renowned for it like the 360. Lets face it the 360 is pretty much expected to come with faults.

If there both the son of Zeus so Hercules should be in GoW3, Kratos and Hercules would make a great fight cuz Hercules is super strong so is Kratos. Also they r brothers so it would fit in the stroyline but wat do u think about this

I did everything I could with the 360, even bought a stand with fans in the base to keep the system cool but it just still didn't work. The other thing I have picked up on is how much quieter the PS3 is, I know it makes no difference but I do find it off putting playing the 360 now because I really notice the noise now.

Definaltey think I am going to get rid of the 360, basically I don't want to wait for it to break and have to spend even more money on it, at the same time I can't exactly justify keeping it if I am not going to use it for fear of it breaking.

I have heard a few comments about the 80gb version (the one I bought) being more likley to breakdown, is this true or just rumour?

Also I have my PS3 vertical at the moment but again have heard it is best to keep it horizontal, again is this true or just rumour?
