I liked Kuja plenty. I think he filled the villain role as good as anybody. It takes an awful lot for me to dislike a video game character because I'm rather flexible. I don't think about it and compare it constantly so I tend to like Final Fantasy games without all the fan-laws and fan-labels. He had proper motivations for his actions... He was powerful... He manipulated... And he was evil with dashes of sympathy to his point of view. All the villain stuff I've seen before with enough to make him original and new. I don't see a problem.
