Are they doing the online-only because the device may only produce digital HD gaming? I was trying to figure out the purpose of online only. I know they will not get Sony's Bluray technology. I wonder if this the only way for them to make games with huge content? Nevertheless, I'm not buying it. Too risky. The whole,"deal with it" sounds like arrogance anyway.

Also, with all due respect to strippers out there, they are not thinking sexist when they're getting dollars, just as the women in Duke games aren't offended either.

Lets also remember who our audience is: men. Most women will never touch this game so how can they get offended? Do I complain about "The View" or Lifetime channel? Heck no, cause I don't go near it. This is a big boy game. Rock on Duke!

Looks like a neat device for players new to the PSP world. You never have to carry a case of games with you anymore! However, people are right--too expensive at this time when you just have the new ps3 with HD, Bluray, etc. just reduced to \\\\$299. This will not sell very well until they drop the price \\\\$100. Sony needs to hire a new marketing dept. because they loose too much money when they overprice things. Supply and demand--PSP3000 too cheap not to buy. It seems like they increase the cost of their equiptment in ratio to its decreasing size. In other words: smaller screen, no UMD support, no change on number of analog stx, less battery life, and same format= higher COSTS. If they would start investing money into giving gamers an extra analog/upgrade rather than trying to spend money to make cosmetically smaller systems, they wouldn't be in the hole. Sony is notorious for spending money to slim their products down: ex. PS to PS ONE, PS2 to PS2 slim, PS3 to PS3 slim, PSP to PSP 2000, 3000, and now GO. Microsoft and Nintendo usually maintain their products size (that's why they make more profits) Nintendo did UPGRADE their DS to DS lite--but it was a good upgrade because it was much needed for a lighter, brighter and not so clunky handheld. They cost was only \$30 more to buyers. Even the DSi has an upgrade of a larger screen, camera, memory card, and a downloadable gamestore, but the price isn't but \\$50 more than the DS lite. Sony's upgrade is \$100 more for the same stuff--only smaller. I hope the PSPGO doesn't turn out a mistake like nintendo 's one exception to selling a GIMICKY device--the Gameboy Advanced Micro. That thing was in stores for like a month and then removed!

Just bought new silver ice on release day. The thing is awesome! I had to sell my old black one months ago for $ reasons. The new psp is way lighter! My friend has an old psp and he noticed the weight factor in amazement! It's a lot easier to play games with it being so light. D-pad has improved greatly! Raised buttons respond much better and they don't stick like my old black one sometimes used to do. The back of the system has the same coating silver finish as the front does- unlike the old psp, that had a rough, brushed feel on its backside. That coating actually gives you better grip when holding the newer version. Plus Silver Ice is so cool. Looks like a sparkly silver paint job a car would have. Give your old one as a present and pick this one up at the store. Great value with the Daxter pack.

Should have added 2nd analog. New games should be built around it, but still give options for original psp owners to play with there one analog under game's control config.
