HAha this is great i made this pic about a year ago:twisted: and Wii is still going strong.
I just got a ps3 today also, i sold my wii for 300 on craigslist, then went out and bought the ps3 as soon as the cash was in my hands, yes i got the 40 gig, i've never had a playstation so i dont care about backwards compatibility, and i dont mind deleting games i've installed in the past, got uncharted with it, to bad i've only played it for an hour and my 2 14 year old cousins took over on it since i brought it home,
The wii just wasnt doing it for my, i played it once every great while and i didnt play it enough to warrant the cost of the system.
gohan_3
Same here i got the 40gb and i dont have any ps1 or ps2 games so the backwords compatibility i dont care for either. My 15 y/o nephew is living off the damm thing GTA4 he sleeps and breathes it  just like you i only got to play it for about 30 mins lol
 you would of got the cables for free with 360angelkimne
i paid $1.93 for hdmi :lol:cables at amazon i dont want to use the hdmi cables from the (now defunct HD DVD) player
P.S. still geting a 360 when the new ones come out:D
why would you buy one right now... i really dont understand what you were thinking.iamright05
I had $590 burning a hole in my pocket:P
Thanx for the replies Uncharted, cod4, and MLB 08 the show caught my attention.
Finally got a PS3 thanks to a $590 tax return :D
Had to choose between a 360 and a PS3 but the 3 red rings made my decision. I love Nintendo but i had to have GTA 4 and the upcoming Resident Evil 5, Plus now i can watch blu-ray. Call me crazy but ill be getting a 360 when the new ones are released with the cooler Jasper chip i think its called?
O yes gotta have Banjo Threeie (N64 memories) Its kind of a waste getting 2 new consoles for 3-4 games. What other games are good for the PS3 and 360? THAT have Really good graphics cuz the GTA 4 graphics suck!, and left me a little dissapointed. I mean isnt the PS3 supposed to be about graphics? Hopefully Dirt or Assasins Creed will fix that.
soo what games will give me the GOOD eye candy for my Hdmi?
yes i shoulda blogged but nobody reads blogs and i wanted feedback from where else .... GOOD OL system wars ppl 8)
I open up my homepage and see this!! it has BEGUN :?
DAmm i can see it now this Wii fit is going to be a Monster like it or not its scary.

Wii maker pushing weight-loss games to women
Nintendo is rolling out a console attachment that lets users do yoga or push-ups and measure body mass. A company executive says the goal is expansion of the Wii's market without alienating core gamers.
By The Wall Street Journal
Nintendo's Wii gaming console introduced sedentary gamers to the idea of moving off the couch. Now Nintendo (NTDOY, news, msgs) is coming out with the Wii Fit, an add-on to the gaming system designed to appeal to women looking to lose weight.
The $90 attachment, dubbed the "Balance Board," expands the range of games that can be played on the Wii to include activities such as yoga and push-ups. The Balance Board -- which resembles bathroom scales -- also tracks a user's weight and body-mass index.
The Wii Fit is a daring move for Nintendo, aimed at broadening the gaming market -- dominated by younger men -- to women.
To get their attention, the company plans a massive marketing campaign ahead of the product's release in the United States on May 19, including a public-relations effort now under way. Television, outdoor and print ads begin the week the product becomes available. Ads via Omnicom Group's Goodby Silverstein & Partners will carry the tagline: "How will it move you?"
Since its release about 18 months ago, the Wii has been a smash hit -- so much so that it's still difficult to buy in the United States. In Japan, where the Wii Fit is on the market, it has also proved hugely popular.
Still, the new product is something of a gamble, moving Nintendo away from core young-male gamers, who could be turned off by the fact that Mom and girls think the Wii Fit is cool.

Notice: No Further Updates
This Smash blog has spanned about 300 posts in almost 11 months, but now it is time to say goodbye.
Before creating this site, I knew I wanted it to be updated 5 days a week and support several languages. It was clear that this would be a massive scale for a website dedicated to a single game.
A lot of people around me were particularly concerned when I told them I planned to write blog posts while development was ongoing and continue to provide updates. Some argued, some just looked concerned, and others asked, "Can you really do this?!"
And all of the text in the articles was written by yours truly, Masahiro Sakurai. Make no mistake.
But the real credit for making the unthinkable possible should go to the Brawl staff who took screenshots and did follow-up work, and the Nintendo home-page staff who did the updates.
I also must thank the localization staff of Nintendo of America, who did the translation from Japanese to English, as well as the language specialists on the European production staff who handled the translation to several more languages.
I feel gratitude for those who helped that I can barely express in words. This site has been supported by so many staff members.
I created the Dojo with the intention of offering breaking news-type updates prior to the release of the game, and organizing the site so that it could be used as a database of features in the game after its release.
Now that Brawl is available, I am hoping that players will continue to use the site as a resource for information.
Also, there's always a chance that I will need to update sometime in the future with some kind of announcement.
Thank you, everyone!

Latecomer Assist Trophies
Some of the Assist Trophies don't appear until you've satisfied a certain set of conditions.
Custom Robo
HOW TO UNLOCK
This is the Ray Mk III. It's the same type that appeared in the Nintendo DS title Custom Robo Arena.
When summoned, the Ray Mk III whizzes around in the air, alternately firing off a shower of bullets from the gun on its left hand and peppering the stage with bombs from its right.
Since it's a toy, the design for Ray Mk III is small and lightweight.
Yup, it's tiny...
Isaac
HOW TO UNLOCK
Isaac is an adept from the Golden Sun series who commands earth-based Psynergy. He carries a sword on his back but you won't see him use it here.
Isaac has the ability Move, which has the ability to move objects. This time, that ability has been represented as a massive hand that pushes away anything in it's path.
This is Move! Depending on the situation, its effect can be devastating.
Infantry and Tanks
HOW TO UNLOCK
These famous units from the Advance Wars series have been represented in Smash Bros. as pixel art. Looking at the number of colors used, I'd say these are the units as they appeared in the Game Boy Advance version, perhaps?
Both types of unit spill out onto the battlefield firing tiny projectiles as they wheel about. They may be adorable, but you mustn't underestimate them.
Three Assist Trophies are represented as pixel art.
Barbara
HOW TO UNLOCK
Barbara comes to Smash from the game Daigassou! Band Brothers and Master of Illusion. She's also made appearances secretly in games like English Training.
When Barbara appears, she starts to wail on her electric guitar, attacking opponents in the area with sonic waves. The attack can cause multiple hits, so run when you see it coming!
Barbara's final strum of the guitar has the most potential to blow you away, so make sure you clear out before it hits!
Shadow The Hedgehog
HOW TO UNLOCK
Shadow The Hedgehog joins the brawl alongside Sonic! Shadow is known as a sort of rival for Sonic.
When summoned, Shadow uses his Chaos Control to slow the speed of those nearby him. Naturally the Chaos Control has no effect on the character who summoned him.
I guess obscuring the players' field of vision is one of the effects of this move?
In addition to the Assist Trophies mentioned above, Gray Fox also requires certain conditions to be fulfilled in order to unlock him.
HOW TO UNLOCK
I suppose it only makes sense that Assist Trophies associated with guest characters appear concurrently with those guest characters, doesn't it.

Secret Melee Stages
Even among the Melee stages, there are a few hidden ones. Here I'd like to do a quick rundown of four such venues.
Jungle Japes
Here's Cranky Kong's shack and outhouse.
Fierce rushing waters flow beneath the platforms!
HOW TO UNLOCK
Green Greens
This stage is just hanging in space like some floating island.
Whispy Woods and the trademark stacking blocks made it here intact.
HOW TO UNLOCK
Pokemon Stadium
Pokémon Stadium 2 is available in Brawl but we've brought back the original as well.
Just like the newer iteration of this stage, Melee Pokémon Stadium's terrain transforms into four different types.
Fire Type: It calls to mind the charred aftermath of a volcanic eruption.
Water Type: The real star of this terrain is probably the waterwheel.
Rock Type: The towering mass of rock on the left side of the screen is this terrain's distinguishing feature.
Lastly, here's the Grass Type. This one's comparatively simple in its structure.
HOW TO UNLOCK
Add the above four types to the additional four available in the Pokémon Stadium 2 stage and you've got a total of 8 different elemental terrain types to fight in.
Big Blue
This unique stage has a real sense of breakneck speed to it.
Get the jump on the opponent from one of the F-Zero machines cruising by.
HOW TO UNLOCK
The Melee stages available in Brawl are arranged so that you get one from each game world.
You can use the My Music feature on Melee stages, too.
In the previous Smash Bros., the background music for each stage had the same name as the stage regardless of the song's source, so you may find yourself feeling a bit like "Huh?" when viewing just the song titles for some of the music on these stages. (EarthBound-related music is the exception to this rule.)
Additionally, the My Music feature for these Melee stages allows you to include some secret songs and music from other stages from that game world in your mixes! Collect all the songs and try it out for yourself.
