7 player split screen, cows

you n00bs don't know math at all. There's a reason for the 7th slot. Put a multitap in the 7th slot and you come up with 10 players on two different T.V's!!! :o If you don't feel like playing 6 or 7 players on one T.V just play with five or four. Simple as that! lemmings don't even know math to save their lives

 And you don't even know what you're talking about! Bluetooth is a wireless interface, there will be no "slots" to put controllers in.

Yet another attempt at sony trying to trump up the PS3. Their reasoning seems to be that 7>4, regardless that it's impractical to have 7 controllers.

AgAin it depends if they are able to use 2 TVs to have an 4 per TV! It has 2 HDMI outputs.

Yes of course, we all own 2 HDTV's. Once again, Sony's just trying to hype these highly impractical features of the PS3.

Care to explain why it's impractical? I fail to see how more space for wireless tech is "impractical", AH! I got it, It must be lemming syndrome where 4.7>25!!(single layer discs.) and 3>8 (cores) and that the eDRAM bandwidth should be included in comparison with a device that doesn't have eDRAM. It looks like god doesn't like all creatures equally now does he...

Did I ever claim that 4.7>25? No. Did I ever say 3>8 cores (something you can't really compare seeing how different the Cell and 360's CPUs are)? No. It's impractical in that Sony hypes these amazing things PS3 can do when the normal consumer won't have the capabilities of experiencing them, like the abilitiy to have 2 1080P TVs connected by HDMI. How may people are honestly going to be able to afford that? No one, that's who.

A link where you heard those figures would be nice...

BobbyBobby85

He found it here:

http://www.joystiq.com/2005/12/28/xbox-360-costs-715-to-make/

But, it seems the source is by no means reliable.
