I'm happy the series has come to a hault. They have milked it for long enough without doing much with it for a long while. I don't agree with the death of CoD titles anytime soon, because you know they'll put a spin on it at some point.

I plan on purchasing it, but not for a little while. I want to see what other DLC might be offered for it first, if any. I felt the game could be better after playing the demo. Seemed a little too bugged and my friends who have purchased it for the PS3 and 360 stated it is like that for a large portion of gameplay. Future update will hopefully fix this issue.

The Xbox took what was great about the Playstation controller and the Dreamcast controller and made perfection. The controller is perfect for almost every type of game genre out on the market. The playstation controller does have better feedback, but that comes with over a decade of experience behind them. I concider myself a Playstation fanboy based on the fact I bought the PS3 for a single title, but I wish I could use my 360 controller on the PS3 daily.

First didn't last a year and rrod.

fourth didn't last hooking up after opening box and fan failure leading to overheating.

fifth didn't last a month and rrod.

Console is being repaired as we speak. So would this make it 6 soo to be 7? I feel like leaving it on for a week just to see what will happen. I sent it in last Monday and they called me Friday saying my warranty sticker was not on my console and they would be sending the console back to me. I asked to speak to someone else and they tranfered me to a supervisor. I explained the console has not been opened by me or anyone else. I explained that every time they sent the console back to me something else is wrong and they either dirty it with grease or dent/scratch my console. The rep explained to me that many people have actually been sent their consoles with no stickers and for my trouble they will send me a refurbished unit this time and a new power supply and controller. I'm hoping this unit will have hdmi. Im not expecting it, but hoping.

Played on a 20inch flat tube SD and I rocked that for around a year. Bought 2 22" LCD monitors for my PC and use the second one as a game screen with a purchase of a $40 cord. Bounced between that and my projector for a year which was capable of 1080i and i thought it looked great compared to the 20 inch tubed SD. I just bought a Sony Bravia Series K for 800 bucks on sale at Target and holy hell. It has amazing depth and the contrast is 50,000 to 1 with 2ms response time. 4 hdmi ports. The tv blew my mind so much i had to buy a ps3. 1300 bucks later after taxes and everything is just great. Too bad i got my 4th round of the horrid rrod on the sexbox but it's all good. been playing GT5 nonstop and i could just cry at the beauty. It is easy to grab a 32" now for 500 bucks for all the good/great brands. If you're near a Target/Fry's/Walmart/anywhere but bestbuy, you will find a good deal.
