I've seen posters advertising GoW's midnight release plastered over Gamestop store doors all over my area. They're probably airing more commercials now since it's getting into the holiday season and they want to draw business away from stores like Walmart and Target. Usually when mom gets little Johnny's Christmas list, she'll head to Walmart before a Gamestop.(At least that's what I'm guessing)
Thanks for the info, AzelKosMos. I picked up the 360 faceplates on ebay, but never picked up the game b/c I was waiting for the price to drop. Now it looks like I'll have the xbox faceplates, but the PS3 version of the game. Wackiness.
Apparently the 3000 model has bad horizontal interlacing lines when you play games and/or watch movies. There is a huge thread on the official Sony PSP boards, there's an article on Kotaku, comparison vids/images on Youtube and the web. Sony has even cancelled their 4G PSP package.
I have a 2000 psp and haven't seen the 3000 screen in person, but been reading up on it and a lot of 3000 buyers aren't happy.
I work at a Gamestop. We do take GBA games and there's no way of telling you what we can give for each particular game until we type the title in the computer. If the game is worth $1 or less(according to the computer), we won't take it in at all.
