Hey guys,

Like an idiot, I only just realised you could plus in standard 3.5mm earphone into a DS Lite. I assumed it had to take a proprietry set, due to the shape of the other half of the jack, but I guess not.

Anyway, I'm using some Samsung earphones, that I usually use with my i8910 Omnia HD phone. They're the type with the button in the middle of the cord to connect calls etc. It has a weird problem. Strangely, when the button is held down, the sound it perfect. If the button is NOT held down, I'm only getting what sounds like one channel. It's in both ears, but clearly not right. (sounds like just a simple bass channel).

I don't want to have to tape the button down, can anyone help?
