You guys get that 9 times out of 10 the pre-order "bonus" is just content that was cut from the main game, right? And what about games where you aren't sure how they will turn out? I didn't pre-order Bad Company because all the previous console Battlefield games were pretty bad. However, the game turned out pretty awesome. The problem is that when I play multiplayer, there are guns grayed out that I can never get because I decided to buy the game a week after it came out.

Basically, I'm saying that in-game pre-order bonuses are dumb, and you guys shouldn't think they are okay or that you are getting something extra. We are buying video games here people, not cars. We shouldn't have to put a down payment on it.

I call B.S on this because you also get art books and other stuff other than DLC crap so yes there is a need for preorders still. If you don't want to pre-order that's your business but to come on a forum and tell people that its not needed is b.s itself.

I do all three...rent, buy new and buy used....If I rent first, then I look for it new and if I can't find it new, then I'll buy it used.
