My apologies for confusing therest of the world. I didn't realize that when Imade the decision to call it Football that I would be confusing the rest of the world, and embarrassing my fellow countrymen like that.

Well at least this is the only country in the world were silly things happen.:roll:

It's not exclusive to Americans. Happens all over the world.

My launch day 360 died in June, they were going to charge me $130 bucks to repair it, but I complained so they dropped that to $96. They replaced it with a refurbished console, and I immediately bought the service contract for it. Good thing too cause the replacement took a dump a couple of hours ago. This time the contract covers me, so there is no charge. And the rep told me that it'll just take some time before my refund for the first repair is sent to me.

It's strange non of my friends have had problems, and I've had two die out. I try to take care of it keep it well venatilated and all. I've had the intercooler on it but that thing is just a waste of money, it didn't do squat but make noise.

My advice is if it was an '05 production and it dies is to make sure that you get the free repair or the refund. By the service contract if you can. And if you can't get out of being charged for repairs, complain. They might lower the charge because they ,"understand your frustration." LOL.

Hopefully my Wii is sturdier. Nintendo usually makes some tough stuff. It's shame the 360 is a good platform. But I have to question the reliability at this point.
