There have been a lot of threads for giantbomb lately, and a lot of threads bashing gamespots rating of PS3 titles. Now im not saying gamespot is completely fair, but i also dont think they are biased at ps3 users and their games. Personally, I'd rather have a review that overfocuses on the negatives in a game so i can get the full picture of how good/bad a game might be. And if a single review keeps you from buying a game, oh well, your loss. I look at reviews from various sites and compare and contrast, seeing if what im reading is a true picture of a game.

Now of course we have fanboys that cant stand the sight of a negative review, but all i have to say is: Get Over It. If a game is good then all you have to do is look in the forums and see the user responses and recomendations, and see that the people are supporting your views. And if not, you can try to bring light to the game. Maybe you see something in the game no one else does, and vice versa.

One game for example i cant believe got a low score was ratchet and clank Future: tools of destruction. The GS score was 7.5. My jaw immediatley dropped and i was angry, being a fan of thr series. Did i take it personal? Of course not. I got the game and made my own opinion of the game, which was great.

Now im not trying to kiss butt, but gamespot has been a great site to be apart of. They usually have the best game news, feature, and videos of any game site ive been to. The forums are second to none, and even though the moderators have been at times unforgiving, its still the place i go to for gossip, news i havnt seen, or some loser ranting about how he hates the game *insert game title*. Overall GS is a good site to be on and even though we dont agree with their freviews at times, i dont see too many people leaving.
