I like how delays get people all riled up......but those horrible sequel ridden franchises that suck up most of the consumer dollars with their bloated budgets and decidedly non-gameplay (see pro "lets be like movies!) oriented design which lessen the overall quality of the actual games, and the concept of what it is to be a game, well that is JUUUUUUUuuuuuust fiiiine and dandy! Consumers will sit by and shell out more and more money for less and less gameplay but they get upset over a frigging delay? you gotta be kidding me. Typical consumer behavior! Like sheep to a slaughter......

"Actually if, you look into things, the PS3 is a bargain! Jeez, a blue ray player cost $999! You can get a PS3 and play games AND have a blue ray player!" Thats absolute nonsense. A "bargain", what a joke. So its a bargain for ME to have a technology that i dont want? A technology that simply adds to the price of the product i want? Sony is putting their Blue ray players in the PS3 because they are trying to push the FORMAT so they can make more and more money off of this format that they have created (for profit). Sony wants you to believe that your getting a bargain, but all your getting is another means to spend more money on nonsense that you dont need. I want to play games, not watch DVD's with higher definition.

Im starting to get sick of this "well its got blue ray so thats a plus!" stance on the PS3......Are consumers really that excited to re-purchase their movie collections along with buying the TV's needed to fully appreciate them at ridiculous price points which do nothing to actually improve the quality of games(gaming)? BlueRay is NOT a "bonus" like sony wants you to believe; it adds to the price of the PS3 and it really has no purpose. Format changes like these should not be forced on consumers through game consoles, like a consumer market trojan horse, to make the game console more "valuable"....its simply to get consumers to waste more money on more stuff that they dont need. It is Sony's agenda to sell Blue Ray as a new format because then consumers spend money on sony TV's and other sony brand electronics. They arent trying to make a better gaming system, their trying to manipulate markets to yield further profits through forced formats that serve no purpose other than to generate more money. I sincerly hope gamers are not stupid enough to fall for such obvious and idiotic tactics. Shame on sony, they are not in the gaming business to make games at all so they need to stop pretending. In the midst of all this nonsense the consumers are forgetting why they even want a ps3; to play games. Sony is trying to convince everyone that sony is somehow doing consumers a "favor" by including this new technology. They are simply doing themselves the favor.
