Are you kidding me? The Wii's been out plenty long enough for anyone that is even remotely educated to know that you don't have to have the wii-mote pointing at the TV/sensor-bar. It senses motion whether you point using the infra-red or not.... so lightsabre battles are VERY possible, especially with this new motionplus attachment. Watch the video fo the fencing game on Wii Sports Resort... as long as some third party publishers get on this and start developing games for it, there will be some awesome uses of this. p.s. I too though, am tired of all these expensive peripherals.
