[QUOTE="Magluf"]Everybody is saying this game is just a MW2 with new clothes... I'm about to buy it, what you guys think?Johnny_Rock

Well I hated Modern Warfare2 and I am having a blast with Black Ops.

I loved MW2 and I love this game, so I guess it's a game for everyone!

I had a blast with all CoD games... This can't be a let down! =D

No special reason. Just that newer drivers tend to favor newer video cards and often break stuff with older cardsThreesixtyci
Still haven't found a solution, even with the 10.6 driver... Got any other ideas?

First I'd try the Cat 10.6 drivers

Threesixtyci
Any special reason why I should use an older version of the Catalyst driver?

Guys, I've looked at forums all over the internet, including 2k Games and Steam's forums and haven't found a solution yet.

Everytime I try to play Civilization V, no matter if I choose Directx 9 or 10, I get a message saying "Sid Meier's Civilization V has stopped working" and then my game closes itself. Most of the time it appears on the load screen to begin the game, and sometimes it appears during gameplay.

I have everything up to date, including directx, c++ (2005, 2008, 2010) and videocard drivers (Catalyst 10.10).

I'm trying it on my desktop, the specs are:

Windows Vista 32-bit (SP2)

ATI Radeon 4890 1Gb

4Gb RAM

Phenom X4 9950 Black Edition

PLEASE, HELP ME... I really enjoy this game and this crashes are frustrating me :(
