[QUOTE="Magluf"]Everybody is saying this game is just a MW2 with new clothes... I'm about to buy it, what you guys think?Johnny_Rock
Well I hated Modern Warfare2 and I am having a blast with Black Ops.
I loved MW2 and I love this game, so I guess it's a game for everyone!
I had a blast with all CoD games... This can't be a let down! =DNo special reason. Just that newer drivers tend to favor newer video cards and often break stuff with older cardsThreesixtyciStill haven't found a solution, even with the 10.6 driver... Got any other ideas?
Any special reason why I should use an older version of the Catalyst driver?First I'd try the Cat 10.6 drivers

Guys, I've looked at forums all over the internet, including 2k Games and Steam's forums and haven't found a solution yet.
Everytime I try to play Civilization V, no matter if I choose Directx 9 or 10, I get a message saying "Sid Meier's Civilization V has stopped working" and then my game closes itself. Most of the time it appears on the load screen to begin the game, and sometimes it appears during gameplay.
I have everything up to date, including directx, c++ (2005, 2008, 2010) and videocard drivers (Catalyst 10.10).
I'm trying it on my desktop, the specs are:
Windows Vista 32-bit (SP2)
ATI Radeon 4890 1Gb
4Gb RAM
Phenom X4 9950 Black Edition
PLEASE, HELP ME... I really enjoy this game and this crashes are frustrating me :(
