Okay thanks alot everyone, I really appreciate your advice. I have just one more question, though. Is the LED better for gaming even though it has a lower resolution?LonelyPrince

Not only are LED LCDs thinner and lighter, but as everyone before me said; it uses less battery.

(The LED LCD is to the left)

As for gaming, since you will be on a 15.4", there is no real use in getting a 1920x1200 monitor AND one more thing, with a lower res, you can play games on native resolution with greater ease and at the same time have beautiful visuals.

At 1920x1200, you wont be able to run a lot of your newer games at that res so you will be forced to downgrade the res, might as well get 1440 native res to make the game look better.

PS - Don't get the 9 cell battery from dell, order it from eBay for ~$80 versus the ridiculous $160 price tag from Dell.

I reply to all threads like this if and when I see them.

1) check that your firewall is allowing wmp11 to share.

2) im assuming u have sharing enabled in wmp11.

3) check that you dont have conflicting programs running. IE: WMP sharing enabled and zune with sharing enabled. That will cause this issue too.

4) I prefer to use TVersity or ORB over zune, wmp or windows media centre (either xp or vista) simple because they are more stable. I havent had the database corrupt unlike wmp, media centre zune (they all share the 1 file). and I dont have to go through BS like allowing access for the 360 n crap like that.

Thanks a lot for the help! TVersity worked very well and is being recognized by my Xbox.

:D !!

Ah man, not a single forum ever replies to a thread like this, and I've been across like 4 different forums.

Can someone at least give me a thread where people have actually replied to an issue like this?

Hey guys & gals.

I just recently purchased a XBox 360 and I'm having problems getting my XBox 360 to recognize my PC.

My Windows Media Player 11 has recognized the XBox 360 and is allowing media sharing.

However, my XBox 360 cannot recognize a Windows based PC.

Does anyone have any solutions? Tips, and etc?

Btw - I have a Microsoft MN-500 router.
