My friends had always quoted that xbox was a console with less and bad games. So I am here giving the names of xbox killer apps and I found that in last gen Goty where mainly on xbox. I dont say Ps2 was bad or something but ya xbox had killer apps although less games but superb quality. here is a brief comparision.

After this xbox didnt recived much games. But while it had less games than PS2 but it sure had killer apps.

So Rap music isn't real music??? whats next , Armstrong never went to the moon? or you still believe that the earth is the centre of the universe.

Back to the topic , Progressive is always better to fast action , like sports and gaming , but if you plan only watching movies interlaced serve you right.

In the end 720p is better solution than 1080i.

I don't agree with you dude , and i will tell you why:

1) If you look at the best games around for booth ps3,xbox360 e.g , gears of wars , rfom etc... They where made with the 720p resolution in mind , simply because we are a generation away from top graphics games running smooth enough in 1080p ,with the same poly count/physics/number of models on screen level as 720p, and that's a fact. Games with low poly count like Virtua Tennis , run smooth enough at 1080p.

 2) The trend now it touse more polygons/physics/number of models on the screen , so I'm afraid to say that 1080p is not the way to go with for the native resolution of 360ps3 games in a long term prespective. I conclude that between having smooth frame-rates , more poly count etc.. at 720p versus 1080p downgraded versions , developers stick with the first option.

 3) The difference between 720p and 1080p are not thatbig to justify "downgrade" top games in order to run at 1080p.

4) Of course we he have booth consoles/hd tvs video upscalers , (and let me say that they do a great job in it) , which is one more reason for sticking with 720p and let the console upscaler/hd tv set do the work.

Even not being exactly the same thing as having  as real native resolution material , it does the trick , letting only video buffs and their affiliates to spot the difference.

 In my opinion the difference between 720p/1080i v.s 1080p TV sets price/quality/lack of 1080p content (except few games and few Blue ray/HDDVD movies) don't put 1080p sets into the "bang for the buck" section yet.

But if you are looking for a long term solution ,you should considerate buying a 1080p HDTV set . I do belive that we will have to wait for more  2 or 3 years to make it worth.
