Yeah I was going in for DDR2 myself. Discovered at the last moment that the Intel X38 board doesn't support it, and the older boards which do aren't great. Will check up on that 850W thing. I was nervous about getting something too low since my last computer burned out due to heat, and one of the first things to go, besides an IC chip on the motherbaord, was the SMPS. Thanks man!
Just getting a new gaming rig. Wanted your opinion on it. Not really investing all that much in the latest video card since the GTX280 costs a lot in India and the 9800 GTX+ should handle everything at highest settings for a while. I can always upgrade to a GTX280 a year later, since my motherboard and processor aren't going obselete for years!
