I'm playing on pc so I dont really know if its the rs button that means click down onthe right stick they should have an in game manual im not sure what button you are impying
I'm pretty arachnophobic myself. As in I'll throw up if anything bigger than a daddy-long-legs is within a meter or so of me. I have a hard time with spiders in games, but ultimately I think it adds to the game for me. In Metro, for instance, being a dude travelling around killing monsters and what not, I may be on edge a little sitting there at night playing; but add in spiders and suddenly I'm walking around tunnels freaking my ass off. Makes the game much more masochisticly enjoyable if you can channel your RL phobia into greater immersion in the character

man Im like that to I get sick, Ive played skrim and had a hard time with those spiders but not like this I think its the mix of the spiders and atmosphere thats messing with me, I seriously had to get up out the chair turn on the light and stop playing for a few days
The first game has some crawlies too, but they're sort of radioactive glowing blobs that splat when you shoot them. It's a level toward the end called Biomass, and one of the harder ones because you have to make sure the Captain that's with you doesn't get killed by them.
In Last Light, just don't even bother shooting the spiders in the sections where you have to go off by yourself and flip a switch a couple times. If you know where to go you can just run through fast without even getting attacked. The slower you go, the more chance spiders will pop out and attack.
Seriously, you're making too big a deal out of this.

thanks for the info I seen the first one on steam for 15 bucks Im gonna try that out first but I know I will have to play this sooner or later I paid 50 for it and it sucks I cant deal with this stupid issue, Im gonna just do like you say and run fast I dont want then to jump on me face
