Download Exult 1.4.9rc1 here There are OSX and Windows binaries available and the source code is there to build for other operating systems. Exult 1.4.9rc1 has been released! It took us over six years, but with DNF seemingly getting ready to be released after all, we had to do something. To prepare for a full release, we have created a first Release Candidate, available on our download page. Please play with it and tell us of any problem you encounter using the forum or bug tracker. If you have followed the news this list is likely already familiar to you, but we did a lot with Exult in the years since 1.2: * Compatible with the stricter permissions of Windows Vista and Windows 7 * Rewrite of the Graphics system to allow switching to full screen on modern systems * Better integration into Mac OS X with default location for the supported games * Smooth scrolling (disabled by default, though) * Aspect correction is now supported * More data from the original has been decoded and thus improved gameplay and combat * In-game Notebook with support for automatic notes (notes created by usecode) * Integrated Pentagram's audio system which means support for real Roland MT-32 device, Roland MT-32 emulation and FluidSynth * Removed dependency of the audio system on SDL_Mixer * New shapes for the paperdolls * Tons of bugfixes There have been many changes to Exult Studio and our support for mods as well: * Multi-map support for new games * Moved hard-coded information to datafiles * Increased limits on resource sizes (shapes, frames, etc) * Greatly improved compiler tools to ease new game development * Tons of work on our map editor Exult Studio and the ability to develop new games and mods Worth mentioning is that our team member Marzo has developed two mods, which can be downloaded separately: * Keyring for BG which adds a large quest to obtain a SI-style keyring, as well as a lot of other enhancements such as meditating in the shrines and viewing the Codex * SIfixes for SI which corrects many mistakes in the game, for example you can now cure Cantra when you play with this mod

I moved all the files to the front of my XP partition and used the parting partition utility in the Debian install package to create the root and swap partitions but the partition table is corrupted preventing me from installing Lilo. Do you know a good utility to use to fix it or how I can run the ignore or fix parameters inside the install? I've tried a few programs but failed plus deleted and tried repartitioning the added Linux partitions with the same result.

You should host this profile banner template to make it easier for people to make custom banners for their Gamespot profile. It is just a 760x140 pixel picture that includes the tabs that block the image and a white background.  If you try making a banner without it, you can easily block out important areas of an image.

Ah......well. I stop discussions when logic is not involved. Goodnight.LJS9502_basic
How is me saying "God told me to" not logical compared to all the examples of the bible including the people writing it?
How do they control the laws exactly? Sajo7
Christians are the majority and they refuse to let certain laws pass like gay marriage for instance because, the bible tells them it is wrong.

[QUOTE="MalignantManor"][QUOTE="Sajo7"]What does the internet have against God? LJS9502_basic
Why do most people that believe in God use it as a reason to hate and murder people?

Why do you think it is any of your business to tell anyone what they can believe?

God told me to. :P I'm tired of Christians always talking about what is right and wrong. They are the ones that control the laws. It has screwed up the US big time.

Personal realization of truths FTW. By the way...if you want people to actually answer one of the numerous religion threads about Christianity, at least have some structure, dude. :roll:BranKetra
I care more about if they actually think about their religion rather than blindly following it.
As a Christian....I read the New Testament. If you wish to flame my religion peruse that Book. :wink:LJS9502_basic
The Old Testiment came before it and is usually included in the same book. If you believe the New Testiment you must believe the Old.

I don't know how you can be proud to be a Christian if you read and believe the bible. The bible shows God as an evil vengeful person. Here is one story that never gets controversy about anything other than whether it happened or not. If someone was building a big ship and said that God told him to do it and the world would flood, would you buy your own ship today? You would think he was crazy. I will not even try to dispute whether it happened or not but, answer these next questions. Would it be right to slaughter most of the word for not believing a crazy story? How many innocent people and animals suffered if it is true? There are a lot more examples of God's cruelty in the bible. How can you support someone like that? It wasn't a matter of whether they believed in God but rather whether they believed a man was telling the truth. If God wanted to test people, why not visit everyone?
