Diablo III Servers= LOL!!!!!

I can hear the screams of anger everywhere I go. Fans desperately trying to access the D3 servers. Loyal clickers who took off work and school to play on launch day, only to be shafted by the long hard phallus shaped appendage of Blizzard.

"It's a huge game, of course it will have server issues."

I don't want to hear that! Blizzard has done this enough times by now that they should know how to prepare for a major launch. So much for that "40 second log-in delay" working for them.

I have a lot of friends who bought the game at midnight, only to be riddled with Error 37's. Many of those same friends took off work just to play a video game (God I haven't done that in a very long time). But for what? A few hours of gaming before the servers went down again...then came back up...then went back down. Even as I type this I do not know the status of the D3 servers. This is unacceptable, and this is coming from someone who doesn't even own the game.

I want to like the game, I want to give it a chance, I want to fall in love with clicking all over again. I want to eat my words from my previous blog post, but how can I? How can I put my trust into Blizzard one more time and give them my money when they won't give me a stable server? Screw it I will play offline...Oh yea, DRM. FFFFUUU!

Maybe I will cave at some point in the near future mainly because as SW:TOR grows stale for me, and I eagerly await the open beta and following launch of Phantasy Star Online 2, I have nothing else to play while sitting at home. I have been watching live D3 streams (you know when the servers ARE actually up) and it seems a lot better then it was during beta. graphics looks better and darker, and way more smooth. The leveling system still pisses me off but whatever. I do have a Hulk like craving to smash things... even if it is with a non-javaZon character. I will continue to monitor the game and see where it goes. Once the servers become stable maybe I'll impulse buy it and then will have no other choice but to play.
