I gave it a 10. I don't think I ever played a game through that much (maybe aside from Final Fantasy VII). I beat it countless times from start to finish and never once got bored of it.
Stick to old school RPGs for a bit, any Final Fantasy before IX, Star Ocean 2, or Breath of Fire 3, Legend of Legaia, Secret of Mana, Legend of Dragoon. Stay away from Final Fantasy X for right now.
