SEC is overrated because it has TV deals and the most media exposure. Of course everyone in the media is going to say the SEC is the best becasue they want people to watch them. This influences the BCS rankings because they believe the hype too. SEC needs to schedule stongers non conference games. I don't see them play the PAC 10 or the Mountian West very often. Next season Flordia will not even leave there state against non conferecne teams. SEC likes to play sub division teams.

That might be true but it would also be nice to see no name schools upset the powerhouses. FRESNO STATE ALL THEY WAY!!!!

Anyone who watched the national championship knows that Alabama won. Does this mean the SEC is the best conference? I still think without a playoff system they cannot be called true champions. Just because there is a SEC championship they get an automatic bid to the National Championship it seems like. This year in my opinion the Mountain West had the best conference while Boise State had the best team in college football. Sure people will say they have a weak division but that isn't there fault. If the SEC had any courage they would schedule more games against this school. No teams want to play Boise State. At least we can see them play Oregon State and Virginia Tech next year, and perhaps another undefeated season with another BCS bid. I think a playoff system is the next step in college football, thats the only way to determine if the SEC is all it is cracked up to be.
