With the recent 10 for MGS4 many people have been criticising gamespot for giving out two 10's in less then 2 months, blaming it all on hype and reviewers being paid to give higher scores. But after finishing GTA 4 and going through some of the games that are coming out later in the year in my head, I thought to myself, is it possible that perhaps this generation in gaming is more then just a leap ahead of the last one? Are we getting to the point where games are getting so immersive and so great with story telling and atmosphere that they can literally pull you in and get to the point where you cant stop? Games are always evolving and I think that this generation may just be a huge step for gaming, GTA 4 and MGS4 both getting 10's could merely show that the industry's games are starting to drastically improve on more then just graphics and could set the bar so high that gaming itself could become somewhat of a revolutionary experiance. Just my thoughts :D.
