As of now I have returned to GameSpot!  I have spent a lot of time on other forums lately, mostly HaloBoards, Halo2Forum, and GamingVidz.  I have changed a lot since I left GameSpot back in the summer of 2006.

I haven't played any game other than Halo 2 for the past several months.  I have become an active member of the MLG community, joined and started several MLG Halo 2 Teams, purchased a capture card, began producing Halo Montages, and filled my Xbox Live friends list with well-known MLG players.  GameSpot is not really the best forum, because I don't really play games anymore except Halo.

My younger brother got a Nintendo Wii for Christmas a few weeks ago, and I got Zelda: Twilight Princess.  I have been playing that lately, and I had forgotten how much I loved Zelda games.  Ever since A Link to the Past, I have loved Zelda games, I've beaten every single one multiple times, and so to finally get to play a new game is fantastic.

Most people here probably stopped reading my blog a long time ago, seeing as it sat for about 7 months without me writing a new entry.  Upon visiting my union a few minutes ago, I was shocked to see that I am still the leader, and that the union has even kept it's Active Duty emblem.

Anyway, I will never again be the GameSpot regular that I once was, back in 2004 when I spent 2 or 3 hours a day posting in the Nintendo and Xbox forums and taking care of the Halo Fan Union, the Ubisoft Union, and the Far Cry Union.  But I do plan to visit every once in a while, post a bit, and continue to update the HFU.

So basically, I'm back at GameSpot.  I think.  I'm not promising that I won't post this blog and then go dead for a year.  So if you really missed me, don't get your hopes up about me coming back.  I'm going to be sticking around a bit more often now, but I will never be the self-proclaimed "Forum King" I once was.

To those who actually read this, I can't believe you still check my profile.  And let me say that it's good to be (kind of) back!

Wow, it was so awesome to acutually meet him!  I can't believe I actually got to talk to ItWasLuck!  For those of you who don't already know, (noobz! :lol: ) ItWasLuck is a professional Halo player in MLG.  He is one of the top ranked players in the world, and he is also the leader of Team Xit Woundz, the #2 ranked MLG team in the world.  Here are his Bungie.net stats.

Anyway, I was practicing with my MLG team, (we're planning on going to New York this April for the playoffs) and then we heard that my friend cF Blades was in a party with ItWasLuck and some other pros.  Their party was closed, but then ItWasLuck put it on Invite Only, and we were able to join.  So I actually got to talk to ItWasLuck for about 10 minutes!  It was totally awesome!  Anyway, that's the most exciting thing that's happened to me on XBL in quite a while.

    Well I haven't been on GameSpot for quite a while, because of school, and I have had a TON of homework.  Also, I've been working out 5 days a week for 3 hours a day, so I'm really tired most days.  I also have a new girlfriend, which as you all know can really chew up some of your free time.  On top of all that, I came down with the flu last week, so I feel like garbage.

    Luckily, the HFU was able to hang on to it's "Active Duty" badge during my absence, and now that I'm back, I want to start the union growing again.

    As far as gaming goes, I spent most of the summer and the beginning of the school year playing GRAW, Prey, Perfect Dark Zero, and Call of Duty 2, but last week while I was sick, I got on Halo 2 for the first time in quite a few months, and I am now totally hooked.  Looks like I have re-addicted myself to Halo 2 once again.... so watch out! :twisted:

I think the author did a fantastic job of capturing Sony's excellent press conference.  This incredible documentary will be regarded as a work of art for many future generations.

Thought I'd just post a few of my favorite action movies, in no particular order.


Dreamcatcher

A very cool Sci-Fi Action flick, full of Aliens eating people and large explosions.  :twisted:  Those are the things that make a movie great!


Enemy of the State

An excellent espoinage movie about government conspiracy.  One of the most exciting movies ever, and action packed.


Paycheck

This movie is full of action and violence, but what make it really cool is how complicated the storyline is.  It keeps you guessing all the way through, and the ending will blow you away.


Behind Enemy Lines

Perfectly captures the desperate situation that is a soldier trapped behind enemy lines.  Full of action and suspense, with an interesting story to boot.


Munich

Just such a great film.  This one has so much meaning to it, and the story is fantastic.  Great, great movie.



Now if you haven't seen these movies, go rent them right.  They are all fantastic movies, must-see's for any fan of action.
