Dont know what you guys are **** about.
My xbox rrod on me 1,5 weeks ago. And i called Xbox custumor service after that. I only had to tell them the serial number and they had all the details already provided. So they send me some forms i had to fill out and put on a neutral box with the xbox inside it. I called UPS and gave them a number, they picked it up the same day (i called in the morning, they picked it up in the evening). And today UPS brought me a "new" xbox with an apology from microsoft for the delay (1,5 weeks?!what delay ?! i suspected 3 weeks minimum) and a free 1 month xbox live gold.

I would say if you enjoyed the first Fable at all, get Fable 2. If you enjoyed Gears of War or Resistance, get their sequels.
If you enjoyed Oblivion a lot, get Fallout 3. Enjoy Banjo? Get Nuts & Bolts. Prince of Persia fan? The new one looks great.
Or maybe something new. Mirror's Edge, LittleBigPlanet, Dead Space, all are worthy I think.

I liked the first fable, but in the end it was "meh". I cannot really care much about gears and resistance (I have both). I did really liked Oblivion though, and I spent a lot of hours in that. Mirrors Edge looks really cool (I practice parkour myself, so it is really fun to see the movements in the games.
What i am really looking for is a game that takes a long time to complete.
With the monster releases this past week, and the upcoming releases it gets harder and harder to choose which games to buy. Now some people will react with "Get a job" but this does not apply to me. I actually have a job, but I have promised myself only to buy one game for the oncoming months (October, November and December). I have an xbox360, ps3 and Wii so the system does not matter to me.
So basically my question is: If you could only buy one game in the next three months (October, November and December) which one will it be?
My doubt is between, Fable II, Little Big Planet, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, SOCOM Confrontation and Left 4 dead. I am leaning toward Far Cry 2 or Fable II the most.
What is your opinion?
I saw it today live on a games event here in The Netherlands (Firstlook 2008 ). And it looked awesome. Why is no-one hyping this game? It features amazing draw distance, and is very much focused on vertical level design. It runs on the same engine as Gears of War (the HUD is almost the same), and is really a game to look out for!
[QUOTE="Shinobishyguy"][QUOTE="WillieBeamish"]from an artistic standpoint some wii games are beautiful :|My point is that graphics are like girls. You can take a decent girl who looks really hot, and that would make her awesome. You can take a really fun, smart girl, with average looks, and she's pretty great as well.
In this analogy, the Wii will never be good looking. Its relegated to 'average' at best. And that winds up causing envy, and as such, complete dismissal of anything truly beautiful.

no, more like 'kinda cute'.. Beautiful is reserved for Gears of War, Crysis, or Uncharted
Yeah because Grey of War is beautiful....
