Can anyone testify that these games work perfectly well under Windows 7 64-bit? (Unreal Tournament and 2k4).

The games may work if they are run under compatibilty mode for Windows 98 (Unreal Tournament) and Windows XP (UT2k4). I also recommend that you disable desktop composition, visual themes, and run the game(s) in Administrator mode. That ensures that they could run perfectly.
[QUOTE="MarioandWB"]Did it have the Editors Choice Content included with UT2004 and the GOTY content included with UT? Some reviewer on Amazon said it doesn't.Just-BreatheHonestly, I'm really not sure, but the original Unreal Tournament is the GOTY edition.
Evidently the reviewer said that UT in UA did not include the hi-res textures, the ChaosUT modvand the Rocket Arena stage from the GOTY edition. As for UT2004, it did not include the high-quality modified levels or the two XP Onslaught levels included with the ECE. What was even more annoying, according to the reviewer, was that it did not include support for the .umod files. You would have to install a patch to fix this issue.
It's a shame that advertising can be fraudable!
I've actually got something like that, Unreal complete collection I think? Its a solid compilation, and I don't think there's any need for another release.
EDIT: its called Unreal Anthology, and it comes with a music CD too.

That's what I was talking about earlier. Did it have the Editors Choice Content included with UT2004 and the GOTY content included with UT? Some reviewer on Amazon said it doesn't.
Besides. I'm thinking about getting Unreal Anthology, but all I just need is just Unreal Tournament and UT2k4. I'm worried that the former won't work on Windows 7 x64 though....
The most popular UT iteration still seems to be the first one, well above UT2k4.
UT seems to have fallen to the wayside (unfortunately -- this is my favorite subgenre of FPS), and I have a small feeling if Epic promoted a new UT that wasn't any of the UT3 bull****, it might take off again. UT3 was doomed to failure by being released the year of COD4 and Bioshock (...I think?) and was simply too consolized and felt like a strange mixture of Gears of War and UT2k4. I know the original UT is still booming, but UT2k4 was my favorite. Epic should bring UT back to its former glory.

I hope so, since Midway is now bankrupt and pretty much ruined the series. I think Epic should go back to Atari because they were the ones that made the series popular (GT Interactive to be specific).
I like the idea, but including Unreal 1 in the collection is necessary.
SovietsUnited
They should add that too, but they should not add Unreal II or UT2003, because those games were not as good. Besides, UT2003 is nearly the same as UT2004.
Epic should just focus on making UT4, but they need to make it right. None of that UT3 bull.
Steameffekt
I agree with that. They should also put Mod support for UT4, because that's what made the series so popular. UT3 didn't have that much mod support, and that's what ripped off a lot of people.
I feel like there should be another bundle for the Unreal series. My idea would be that Epic Games would bundleUnreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2004, and Unreal Tournament 3 again, this time on a collectiontitled "Unreal Tournament: The Ultimate Collection". It would include all the editions the games recieved and special patches that would fix many issues and add even more featuresthat the retail patches did not.
Theideas are as follows:
*Unreal Tournament 2004 would feature all of the levels, characters, etc. that were featured on the Editors' Choice Edition, Special Edition (which today is hard to locate), and all bonus packs. In addition, the two XP Levels would be added to the game. All online sessions would support the mods many people created for the game (which would be retained in all the game's modes). Mods would still be compatible withthis edition.
*The original Unreal Tournament would include all the content that was included with the Game of the Year edition, and the special patch would add support for most 64-bit machines, especially those running Windows 7. Modification support would also be supported in the multiplayer mode.
*Unreal Tournament 3 would have all the content featured in the Titan Pack and the book and bonus DVD included in the Limited Collector's Edition. Extensive Mod support would be added.
The supported OSs would be Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or possibly 8 (?) and a Macintosh version would be released later. As for Linux users, they are out of luck (Sorry guys). Pricing would be around $19-$39, which in my opinion looks pretty cheap.
What would you think? I should present this idea to Epic Games.
