@killered3: It doesn't even have Capcom games, which is an automatic fail in my book. Hell, the Genesis Classic holds 80, and at a cheaper price. Nintendo knows its profits are suffering, that's why this rehash console is nothing more than a quick cash-in.
No thanks. I can just go to a website where I can play all these exact same games for free online and save the $60 for a new game instead of the same rehashed crap just repackaged cuz they know their loyal fanbase suckers will eat it up.
@bunchanumbers: Wrong. Apple is the real winner in this scenario, as they stand to make the most profit. Also, just because your shares are worth more doesn't mean developers will come knocking at your door. As soon as the craze dies, Nintendo will be back to square one.
Big freaking deal. Just because a company's net worth eclipses another doesn't make them the market leader...Sony still leads the charge when it comes to industry trends and how developers follow suit, that is real power. Nintendo made more money than Sony back when the original Wii first launched yet developers still flocked to Sony and Microsoft and the motion control soon became a fad, therefore it was ultimately a failure since Nintendo didn't change the industry like it said it would. Also, Apple is the REAL winner in this scenario, as they stand to make the most money out of this surge.
Nice! Get rid of the Wii games and accessories since no one buys them anyways to make more room for the PC/Steam stuff, which has been pathetically small for the longest time.
