If i were you id just play oblivion. Dont worry too much about morrowind. Great game but you only need to play oblivion to get a feel of the world and the races that inhabit them.
Ive fully played oblivion and the shivering isles too but ive only played the start of morrowind and i feel i know the game well enough.
You might be just getting over games? Although to me there hasnt been a "extremely" interesting game since Fallout 3

*an extremely and are you serious? mass effect 2, red dead redemption, assassins creed brotherhood, halo reach...the quality of games has not dropped, you are just getting over games I played mass effect 2 didnt get into it. and all those others. I could say that red dead was quite good but nothing has really been a 10 for me. Thats just my opinion mate
